Fab evening! Listened to singers on the patio! Little wait for a table but it was a busy Friday night.ordered ohana sours and they happily switched the whisky to amaretto! We ordered shrimp skewers, fish tacos and pulled pork tacos! Had a couple of cocktails, friends had beer an staff was lovley! Had an all around lovley night and the band were fantastic.
I gave a second chance! and from was failed. the seafood risotto was terrible. It was not fresh rice with gravy ?Pasta from the kids menu was dry, not fresh from microwaved. But the musicians play and sing here are wonderful!
Great little spot with live music right across from the beach! Excellent bar, friendly staff, good menu options. We had the poke sampler which was really good. This place has a great island feeling to it with really good food. A must stop while in the area.
Easy to relax, eat some food, watch the roosters? drink some drinks and people watch???.This place hit the spot?!.Beautiful spot with a beautiful view..Drove by for a few days watching the night life as it was always popping and the place was always busy!.Managed to get here during the day and got to sample a few tasty options ...and had some food as well?.Many mixed cocktails and a couple shots to get it going..Super friendly staff with a chill vibe. ?.Everyone enjoyed their food. That?? was just what I needed! ???.Thanks?
We ordered one of the pokes and it came out as the attached pictures. Rice was probably cooked long time ago, frozen, and defrosted to be served, the “diced avocado” meant just one tiny piece of it on top, plating was untidy, and several ingredients that were described in the menu were missing. It tasted awful. Upon our complaint, they gave us more avocados but they had to admit that they’re out of several ingredients in the kitchen, which we would have understood and ordered something else if they has told us when getting our orders. We were also sitting at the bar area and got to witness a chef accidentally spilling too much salt on to the risotto pan and, instead of re-cooking, adding extra heavy cream to dilute the saltiness. Later a waiter came back and told him to “cut the cream” on risottos. Overall, we won’t call it a restaurant.
I had the crab cakes and seafood risotto. The crab cakes had a pineapple chutney that was awesome. The seafood risotto was cheesy. It was ok. Didn’t like the tail shell still on the shrimp. They had live music later on a Thursday night. Played requests, not bad.
Great views of the ocean and excellent food. We enjoyed a family dinner here one night and came back for happy hour another day. The server we had both times was friendly and attentive.
I had the Ohana Poke Trio Sampler: Hawaiian style poke: Ahi, house-made kung pao sauce, green onions, white onions, ogo (seaweed), pink Hawaiian sea salt Dynamite poke: Ahi, diced avocado, green onion, white onion, pink Hawaiian sea salt, togarashi, umami sauce and Makena style poke Ahi : avocado, tropical salsa, green onion, pink Hawaiian sea salt, togarashi, teriyaki sauce Hubby had the Tempura Ahi Roll : Fresh ahi wrapped in nori, tempura deep fried w/ chipotle aioli and kung pao sauce. We loved it!
Live music was great! Food a bit overpriced but delicious. The "call when your table is ready" system does not work well here, but once you are seated (which you have to be for eve a drink) the staff is very attentive and we had a good time.
Worst food on Maui. Fish tacos are undercooked and overpriced. Better food at the food truck down the street. Better food at the Maui fish company food truck.
