Hands down best food I've had on the island and I've been here almost two weeks. I'll definitely return to this location the staff was kind. If you want to table you order at the hostess sand and pick your drinks up at the bar when they call your number. If you want to be full service you have to sit at the bar. I got the Hawaiian barbecue short rib with the Mac salad and rice and my boyfriend got the ahi sandwich it was amazing.
Not impressed at all You order before entering. We are foodies and enjoy reviewing menu and discussing it As there was a line behind us we had rush to choose We both got the chicken and waffles Food came quickly and looked a hell of alot better than it tasted Bacon was okay but overly crispy The chicken was seriously overcooked to the point of almost being rock hard The waffle was dry Bottom line, food didn't meet cafeteria quality Price would have been okay if the food was
They do things a little differently here. You order before you sit down, they give you a number and your order goes straight to the kitchen. In very short order, your meal is delivered to your table, still hot and juicy. I was very pleased with my Korean burger and my wife had a basic cheeseburger. Both were very good and served promptly, A big plus at the end of a very long day.
This place is awesome! I will be sure to return on our next trip to Maui. We got three entrees to go. Cubano, Chicken and Waffles and French Toast. All were excellent!
Great customer service, affordable happy hours, pro live music, outside seating, cool vib inside, yummy food!!
Had a great Father’s Day breakfast on vacation. There was a line when it opened and took us about 30 min to get in. Food is outstanding and plentiful. The stuffed French toast was outstanding - very good with a layer of pineapple/passion fruit cream between the perfectly done French toast. The bacon was very good but not super crispy - just how I like it but for some in my party - they like it well done. Syrup for the island pancakes was a rum flavored syrup that was delicious. The heavy kine breakfast was very good but the potatoes were pretty salty and garlicky - perfect if you like that but if not, may not want the potatoes. Prices were outstanding for the food quantity and the coffee is very good.
Everything was good, short ribs, poke bowl, chicken salad, drinks. Good service and reasonable prices (for Maui). Yum!
Went for lunch; loved that you ordered and pay right away as it seemed to eliminate the wait time. Great food; great service!
Showed up to a huge line which seems normal for this popular spot. Don’t go during peak meal hours to avoid waiting.Maui fruit bowl (pictured) was extremely fresh and tasty. The banana bread was a little dry, but a great accompaniment to the fruit. We also tried the French toast which was a large portion and didn’t disappoint.Nalu’s is obviously a pillar in the community judging by the documentation of philanthropic efforts lining the walls. Don’t miss this food if you’re visiting Kihei!
Recommended by our snorkel guide and definitely did not disappoint! So delicious. Island pancakes, crab cake eggs Benedict, Bulgogi Korean Burger and Ahi eggs Benedict ALL s fantastic! Super nice staff as well.
