This was a return to Maui Thai Bistro for our family having visited three years ago during a previous vacation to Maui. The food and service were still great with us ordering the Drunken Crispy Fish that had stayed in our memory from our previous visit. I'm happy to say that it was still a wonderful dish. Our server Supapan was excellent as she was so welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I highly recommend Maui Thai Bistro for some wonderful and tasty Thai style food.
Best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand hands down. Genuinely authentic taste and cool aura. Loved this place. Only suggestion would be to turn the brightness of the lights down slightly. It was hurting my eyes after a while. Or potentially different light fixtures that don’t shine in the face so much. Loved this place regardless. I’ll be back soon!
Food was delicious! Amazing drunken noodles. Only downside here was we had to wait a while for our food, but it was well worth it.
Deliciousness! I just love Thai food. I had wonton appetizer, the cream cheese was still a bit cool inside, but very tasty! Also had the panang curry with vegetables; the veggies were fresh, and the sauce was semi spicy. Love love loved it!
We had a reservation and were seated quickly. We shared the Summer Roll (shrimp). I ordered the calamari. She had the papaya salad. Then we shared the Fantasea entree (more than enough for the two of us -- we're older). Everything was very good. This was our first time here and we will go back. The dining area is not fancy but we went for the food.
Location was very busy but waiters were very attentive and polite, and even warned us from the beginning it could 40-50min to get our food and recommended we get appetizers as they come out faster.Soup was absolutely delicious, no complaints. Very creamy and perfect vegetable/chicken blend 10/10!Pad Thai was delicious, had that lime-kick I enjoy, (9/10) since it was a tad oily for my taste.Yum Nua was adequate but beef was boiled so it was a bit on the chewy side (8/10)The coconut ice cream is absolutely the best ice cream we've had thus far. Would highly recommend it when ordering dinner.Great place for families or date night. Has options for bar-like environment or sit down table's and booths for those family friendly events. Neighbor noise is present but not overbearing.
Awesome food. Busy and I can see why. Food was fantastic. Portions are huge. We ordered a bunch of dinners and just shared everything. Not a bad one in the bunch! Will definitely go back.
Tried several Thai Restaurants while we were in Wailea/Kihei area and this was our favorite. Yummy chicken coconut soup (Tom Kha Gai) and wide noodles with scrambled eggs and broccoli (Pad See Yu). Staff very friendly and courteous.
I ordered take out and was impressed at how efficient the staff worked to manage take orders and (socially distanced ) indoor diners. Oh, and the curry was delicious! Very fresh veggies, the perfect amount of spice and really great sticky rice. If you are in Kihei don’t miss this place!
Delicious food! We had the massamun curry and the drunken fish - both excellent. Highly recommend! Clean dining room and courteous staff.
