we had the best service and our server was very nice and made sure she checked on us frequently. Definitely coming back for more dinner dates

We were very disappointed. I get called in the middle of my day, and asked to come in 30 minutes early to my reservation (made a week in advance), so we rearranged some plans, and go early, to be asked to wait 20 minutes! Then, they sit our party of 5 in the middle of the bar area, between four different pathways. Constant back and forth behind us. One of the servers picked up a high chair and it hit my daughter (softly). One entree was incredibly dry, so they offered to replace it, and we were charged for the replacement, when that person really decided they could have cold cuts back in the room but was pressured by the server to order something. We then tell them itâs a 26th Wedding Anniversary and the server tells us we should get dessert to celebrate. We ordered two desserts per the servers suggestion and get charged. We ordered the chocolate cake, and the server goes âlet me put some ice cream on the plate for you guys also!â no mention of the extra charge. $5.00 for a tiny scoop of ice cream. $500 dollar dinner for a not so great experience, a server who took advantage, and no more bread. this is usually one of our favorites when we stay at the Fairmont, but the experience was very disappointing this time.
Our waiter Brandyn did a great job explaining all of the different dishes and made recommendations based on likes/dislikes and allergies. We ordered several appetizers for the family and shared all of them. Eating like that encourages a lot discussion and the restaurant was not noisy. There were conversations and music in the background, but given half of the restaurant is outdoors there isnât a lot for noise to bounce off of. The view of the grounds and pools is very nice as well. We ordered 4 different entrees, including both fish specials. Everything was delicious and unique. Well done. The desserts were awesome and we ordered several of those. The Pineapple crème brí»lée is insanely good. We had the banana bar chocolate cake, and the doughnut-type dessert filled with gelato and different sauces. Itâs was a truly 5-star dining experience.
Food was so tasty!!! But Hawaiian resort hotel pricey. But still very good!
Party of four seated at table on the lawn. Beautiful setting. Umbrella brought over on request for shade. Drinks, service, food marvelous. Shared oishi sushi, then fried lobster. Complimentary dessert for birthday. Great evening.
Anniversary dinner for my wife and me. Enjoyed the Korean ribs and lovely dessert. Excellent service.
Bar service was beyond great. Restaurant service was too slow.

This was by far the best dinner we had during our week in Maui! Our server Ryan was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable and had great suggestions about the menu. My boyfriend has a nut allergy and we accidentally ordered a dessert with nuts in it. When we asked our server he took care of it right away and was extremely helpful and professional about it! Also- the views!!! What a special place. Highly recommend Ko and Ryan for a great experience with the most stunning, picturesque backdrop.
