The food was good but I can't rate them any higher because I am handicapped & needed to go to a restroom & was sent accross the street to use the restroom in the park. It's a good thing I am not in a wheel chair. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who thinks they may need to use the bathroom during their meal or who needs to wash their hands before eating.
Service was fast and the POG was excellent. My daughter loved her pancakes. My kalua loco moco was dry and lacking flavor. I would not recommend or get this again. Parking was hard to find even with an early visit. Not sure it’s worth the long lines others experienced.
My husband and I ate here three times during our week-long visit to Maui. I fell in love with their pancakes with bananas and macadamia nuts. Yum! Loved dining al fresco. The line to order can be long, but it moves fast so there is never a very long wait. There's always a chicken or two to keep you company. :)
We visited in June 22. Food was good, staff was a little on arrogant side. When ordering I asked staff about a certain dish; her reply”everything is good”. We had six people order two orange juice and the rest of the group said just water. To our surprise they charged us for 4 bottled waters. When we got to our seats we noticed other patrons had cups of water. We were told they should of asked if we wanted regular water (free) or bottled water ($3 each). Not a big deal, knocked the shine off of the visit.
Make sure to ask for the Coconut Syrup when you order!!! Without it, it’s “just pancakes.” ? We’ve been here 3 times this week, so we love the place. This morning we ordered the pancakes and the server dropped them off at the table without telling us there wasn’t any Coconut Syrup! When I asked about it, he brushed it off by saying, “Oh yeah, we ran out of that this morning.” Don’t order the pancakes or French Toast without it! Also- not gluten-free or allergen-friendly. We went to Nalu’s to find something suitable along those lines.
Food was really good. Wasn’t the best Mac nut pancakes I’ve had, but they were solid. Oahu has some Mac nut syrup that is amazing. This cafe has coconut syrup that was pretty good. The omelette was pretty good also. Portion sizes are pretty large so I’d recommend sharing if you’re not that hungry ?Fresh squeeze orange ? juice was amazing! There is a line but the staff was very efficient and friendly.
Basic cafeteria food. I am highly surprised why there’s a big line to get in it took us 40Min to get a table. The lady in the front was really rude when she took our order. The menu is very hard to read, you have to read it off a TV that keeps changing. The tables are super sticky. The food was nasty. The only good thing was the friendly people sitting you down.
Went to eat there on a friend's recommendations. Food came out fast. Their loco moco with fried rice was like a warm hug and the papaya boat was bright and tasty. Logistics We got there at 6:45AM and only had a short wait to place our order at the counter. The line though wrapped around the building by the time we left. Parking was very easy; there's a parking lot next to and behind the restaurant. There's also a great playground across the street and a paved walk along the ocean that we visited with our two-year old toddler right after the meal.
Oh my gosh, are we glad we ate here!! The best omelet we have ever eaten and it is HUGE! Don't let the lines fool you, it moves fast! Read the menu and be prepared to order when its your chance. The iced coffee is also top-notch. We will be talking about this omelet for a long time!
Food with a view of paradise. I can’t say anything bad per se, but surprised to see it rated highly (“best breakfast in Kihei”). It felt like everything was a fail (line, food, service). 4 out of 10.
