Just what the doctor ordered. Great Mexican food-inspired food truck near Makena Beach. Everything we had was high quality. The shaved ice is the coarse kind but still very good.

Some of the worst fish tacos I have eaten. Soggy, not much flavor, 2 jammed together in paper. Iced tea must’ve been 50 years old, undrinkable. Fish nachos were ok. I do not recommend the food.
Worse Taco I had ever. I saw the guy microwaving the fish and put it in the taco. Tasted like canned fish.
This family-owned walk-up ordering restaurant with picnic tables was a very nice surprise. The menu board was comprehensive and all individuals found the food to be excellent. The huevos rancheros burrito was so good! Across from the beach, this is a great stop after a day on the sand. Give it a try.
. We have two Mexican restaurants closer to where we live, but this one is so much better! The food is organic, fresh and delicious. It's tucked away in a mall across from the beach, and worth finding!

A really friendly blonde girl named Sigrid served my friend and I after we spent a few hours filming at Makena Beach. Quality burritos and good shave ice. The truck also serves tacos. Super convenient location and quick preparation. All around good place!
After finding it super difficult to find a restaurant, that would take our family of 5 during spring break, to eat at we were delighted to learn of this fabulous mexican grill. Easy location, casual seating, and super delicious food. The pricing was good and they accommodated our eating requests perfectly. The kids did not enjoy the nachos (not sure what you expect when you take all the good stuff off and just leave cheese and chips) although they did enjoy the fresh salsa that came with them so they didn't complain. Everyone was so happy with the tacos, taco salad, taquitos, and enchiladas that we made sure to come back for a second time! Don't be fooled by the corner location! It's a fun "picnic table" setting that brings a fun vibe.
