Jawz is by far the friendliest restaurant in Maui with it’s caring and friendly staff. I ordered burritos, nachos, and tacos and they were all spectacularly made. I was amazed at the size of the burrito and they were accommodating with the adjustments I made to the burrito. The best part was their cheap prices and free water! Love supporting local businesses in Maui, especially if they are close to my condo! Huge thanks to the staff!
Rated entirely on three things. The ahi tacos. The homemade hot sauce. The man behind the counter.
Nice place to get a good bite. Staff was friendly, service fairly quick and food was fresh. We had the Blackened Mahi taco plate and the pineapple teriyaki tofu taco plate, with black beans and cilantro rice. The food was delicious. Would recommend it for sure. We might go back to try other stuff too.
Good food and nice staff! For the fish tacos and the chicken quesadilla. Came with Spanish rice and refried beans on one and cilantro rice and black beans on the other. Everything was super tasty! These were the best fish tacos I had on this trip. Not full of coleslaw like other places.
Really great fish tacos! Quesadillas are pretty heavy on the cheese, but still good. Pretty much everything comes with your choice of type of beans and rice, which is nice.
All the way jn the back is Jawz, serving ok and not-so-pricy Mexican food. You order at the counter and sit on a set of tables in the hallway (or take it with you)
Friendly staff, super fast service, delish fresh homely food! I got veggie fajita bowl (they don’t have on menu but just tell them no tortilla/ plated) and my husband got veggie quesadillas - we enjoyed our meals! Would come back to this place.
Jawz was absolutely delicious. The best priced and best quality tacos I've had in Kihei. It's just a small restaurant with some courtyard seating, but it was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and quick.Their fish tacos were spectacular, but they also lots of other choices including some tasty vegetarian options. I suggest the Tostadas with refried beans. I highly recommend stopping in.
Getting a bit later and no significant plans for dinner. We got the blackened fish tacos island style and a California burrito with chicken. I loved the mango salsa. They held up well on our walk back to our lodging. I would go there again1 Good value too!
If you’re tired of paying a lot for these expensive restaurants, come here for amazing, delicious, absolutely great Mexican food. Prices are also reasonable. Definitely coming here for often during my stay. Help use my funds to pay for other activities than just trying to eat.
