The food was great but it always upsets me when they put 2 people at a very small We ordered numerous appetizers for our meal Table was load and we were forced to eat faster than what we would like Took away from the greatness of the dinner There were several 4 tops available We were in and out in less than an hour When we ordered multiple appetizers they could have moved us
Before I get into how amazing the food is, the staff here is the absolute sweetest. We sat at the bar and we had a female and male bartender helping us out with our order. We are avid sushi eaters wherever we go! We can say this is the best spot we’ve ate at in many states including beating out Seattle. We started with crab cakes and they were fresh and well made. I couldn’t get pictures of my husbands food because he dug in before I could get photos but he said this is the best sashimi he has ever had, and he got the yellowtail. He also got the rum runner and said it was smooth and made well. I got the volcano roll and I was blown away. It was honestly the best roll I’ve had and had it’s own unique spin. I got a no-hito since I wasn’t feeling the alcohol tonight after getting smacked pretty good with waves and pulled something in my neck, LOL. It hit the spot! We finished off with some dessert, the tempura ice cream. It is good, but make sure you have a lot of room because we could barely breathe and felt like I needed to be rolled out of the restaurant, haha. I recommend this place to everyone!!
Melt in your mouth sushi. The rolls were big and stuffed full with fish and didn’t have too much rice. Hamachi sashimi was like butter. Delicious.
Great local restaurant with fresh fish caught by the owner daily - that is the daily catch! Service was attentive and knowledgeable about their dishes. Would highly recommend.
Great little place for sushi. Gets busy around 5-7 so make reservations if you don’t want to wait. Little bar and in this state you must have a seat to be served beverages.
Excellent sushi! Recommended by our son who lives in Kihei. Good oysters on the half shell too. Good service. A very pleasant evening.
Isana has amazing sushi and a good selection of beer and sake where you can sit at the bar or at tables in the bar or in the restaurant. On this visit we had three different rolls. Spicy Salmon, Spicy Hamachi and the Red Dragon Roll. We also had Ryo Sake that comes in a beautiful blue bottle along with Asahi beer that was poured into small beer glasses. We went during Happy Hour and our bill was under $70 for two Happy people with full bellies.
Enjoyed many appy’s - fried poke, tempura shrimp, CLifornia rolls and more. Fresh fish and sushi prepared right there for customers to enjoy.
We ventured off the resort to Isana. A great, lively place, lots of big tables, and also small ones. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had the hamachi jalapeño. One of the best I have had. It was hard to choose among all the rolls, but we ended up with the Hawaiin roll, which did not disappoint. The also offer Hosomaki rolls, thinner rolls with just 2 ingredients. We had the shiromi-shiso, and it was wonderful. Service was great, the place was hopping. All in all a great night,
Excellent Sushi, very good quality and very nice staff. The rooms looked amazing and so did the food. Highly recommended! Best sushi I have eaten in Maui!!
