The staff was not friendly. The restaurant is located at a beautiful resort. We stayed on the property for 5 nights. We decided to dine their the last night but had heard from resort staff and guests that the food was good but it was a difficult âplaceâ. The food was delicious and the portions large. The staff was not friendly and seemed annoyed at the existence of diners. I highly recommend the food but it is a difficult place :-(
Got outdoor patio seating 30 minutes before the sunset set the mood. This made the wine and cocktails taste extra special., she was glowing. The poke was a very flavorful starter and almost melted in your mouth. My wife and I both got the potato crisped local catch on top of mushroom risotto was awesome with hints of truffle. We ended the meal with the chocolate soufflé to seal the deal. How do you think the night ended? Get your mind out of the gutter, we had a 2 and 13 year old with us the whole time.
As good and creative as the food was, the service was completely the opposite.
Our server was amazing and took very good care of us! The appetizers were our favorite. I usually get the short rib because I love the flavor and tenderness, however this time mine was very tuff. I had to use a steak knife to cut through it. Having some leftovers now itâs to tuff to eat so Iâm bummed about that but everything else was amazing! Our server was busy but she definitely made up for it and we were enjoying the moment and ambience so we did not mind.
Please donât go to this restaurant if you are hoping for the old Royâs experience. It fell completely short of expectations and the online menu that is on Open Table and online, absolutely does not reflect what they serve. So unfortunate! Was expecting at least a 4star dining experience.
The food was excellent. From the venison gyoza to the fresh catch of the day. To end the night we had the infamous chocolate soufflé worth every bite!
This restaurant provides both outstanding food as well as presentation, and the service is impeccable. Best meal we have had on our vacation so far. We were so lucky to actually stay at the resort where this gem is located. :)
Food was excellent as it should be at these prices, including fish and beef entrees. Service and restaurant decor are resort casual.
