We celebrated our anniversary here and loved it! Excellent food and service and gorgeous views and sunset. Highly recommend!
We love Gannons and have been going there for years. I daughter was married there last summer. My only complaint is that it took a LONG time for our entrees to come out. I'd say 30-40 minutes, and that seemed like too long.
Gannon's struggled to shake off the COVID lockdowns in our previous experience, but this time they had finally returned to their excellent food and service. It seems the reviews haven't quite caught up so it's not hard to get a reservation on short notice.
It was louder than usual because of a wedding celebration. We really couldnât converse with each other easily; however our server was excellent and the food was tasty.
Was really happy with our dinner and they have fantastic Mai Taiâs. Had their burger for lunch after golf as well and it was awesome.
Slow service, guitarists was too loud. Not the level of professionalism we have received in the past.
Disappointing. We chose Gannonâs because weâve eaten there several times and always had a good experience. I indicated that it was our 34th anniversary in our reservation in hopes that we would at least get a good table. We were seated at a tiny 2top that was more of a cocktail table and felt like an afterthought, when all other couples were at 4tops, and there was a beautiful table at the railing that remained empty for our entire dinner. I should have asked for a better table, but we are not ones to make an issue, so it was âfine.â Service was slow and timing was off. Our waiter was marginally pleasant, but the entire staff of the restaurant was flat, not what we expect from a Bev Gannon restaurant. Our appetizer came well before our cocktails - we were almost finished before our drinks arrived (also, no chopsticks were offered, but thatâs a local thing, so perhaps the staff were poorly trained). No check-ins - more delays before we could place our dinner order - and the second cocktail we ordered didnât appear until the first was well finished and we were beginning to wonder if the second would come at all. Food was fair - ahi was cooked perfectly, although a little over salted. Kampachi special was fair - fish was slightly off and didnât seem fresh. After finishing our meals, again a very long lag, no checkins, and no one cleared our plates which was uncomfortable because there wasnât any place to even push them aside because of the small table. Perhaps our expectations were too high coming out of the pandemic. However, it is off season and the restaurant was not full by any stretch. Perhaps Gannonâs no longer appreciates local patrons, nor do they appreciate our hard earned money, wasted on a lackluster dinner that was supposed to be a enjoyable evening out. Bev Gannon has really taken her foot off the gas.
Beautiful view! We sat outside at sunset. Friendly and professional service, server was knowledgeable about the menu, great food. Overall a lovely evening.
I will spare folks considering Gannonâs a long story. The service was poor, the food was fine, and the view is amazing. I recommend making the drive, seeing the view, and eating elsewhere. Seriously, itâs a mediocre golf course restaurant at best.
We had an amazing time at Gannonâs for dinner. Our reservation was about 30 minutes before sunset and it did not disappoint. We were sitting behind a post but we were able to stand up and see the gorgeous scenery. There was a wedding reception going on at the same time so we were overhearing their party but it wasnât too loud. The food was amazing! I would highly recommend.
