Our dinner was absolutely fabulous
The Dining Experience was TOP BOX choice for us when we stay in Wailea. We book 3xâs on an 11 night stay. We were identified as regulars by the staff. The Host Staff greeted us as returning customers. Our server Shane remembered us from our last visit and was ready to give us our preferred choices of beverage and food. We really did NOT have to do anything. He could have just made it happen. WOW. On top of that he prepped the fellow servers for our next visits because he is traveling. The food was delicious and so were the beverages. You can NOT do better

Family vacation
We ate at DUO as a family of four (2 Adults and 2 Children). We were excited for our reservation at DUO but the food quality and service were not to be desired. The prices were way too high compared to the quality of the food. The initial meet and greet by our server was fantastic. However, it went down hill from there. We ordered the pork belly bao and it came with two rolls with not a lot of meet (more peppers). We all ordered the natural rib eye and (Tasmanian was just sold out after we ordered) filet minion and the steaks tasted like the meet was old, not a great cut and not cooked to expectations. We waited for an hour for the food to be served and appeared that the food may have been sitting for some time before coming to the table as the onion rings served with the steaks were cold and hard. Our server did not visit the table after we ordered, until almost the hour we waited for the food, to advise us that the food was just being plated, then we did not see her again until the meal was almost completed. The individual filling our water glasses was amazing! Our glasses were never empty. After completing the meal, we again waited for almost 25 minutes to get the check and able to complete our meal. The restaurant was far from filled as there were many empty tables throughout. It took almost 3 hours to complete our meal and we did not have any alcohol, coffee or desert.
Great dining experience
We had a lovely, delicious dinner. Our waiter Tommy was helpful, and so joyful. Food prices all around the island are very high right now. Other than that, it was perfect.
