Delicious food and friendly customer service. All the food was so good I couldn't pick a favorite. They were busy but still got my take out order out pretty fast.
This place is a little tricky to spot. It's right in the corner of the shipping center, but doesn't have a sign on the outside like all of its neighbors. Their sign is smaller and hanging under the patio above the entrance. Glad I looped around again looking for it though.Too many good choices to choose from, so I went with all of them and got the Mixed Plate. It did not disappoint! The meats were so uniquely delicious that I don't know if I could choose a favorite.
Da Kitchen is Da Bomb!!When we went both times there was no wait, we got right in and got seated. There was hardly a wait on the food, and the portion sizes were huge. The food was delicious and the staff was great! We will recommend Da kitchen any day!We tried the fried Musubi, Garlic Chicken, Hawaiian Plate, and the Kalua Pork. All of these items were sooo good!! We loved our experience and will be back again!
Great food with huge portions! One mixed plate (and a spam musubi) were enough to feed two, which offsets the Maui price. You can tell that the servers were hustling too. Highly recommended!
We love local food and ordered enough to feed a family of 5 but it was just the 2 of us ?. The portions here are worth the $ and the taste and quality of ingredients makes it even better. They have the best spam masubi and the pork ribs are ?. The POG juice is fresh and delightful. The staff is very kind and attentive. I wish more people would get off the resort and support these local businesses that have WAY better food, its cheaper, and it supports the locals. Thank you for the hospitality and delicious food. Aloha and Mahalo
We are so excited they have another permanent location again. Closer to our condo too! The staffs are so friendly and though the line was long, we managed to get our orders in and gor our orders piping hot no more than 5 mins later. The portions are HUGE!It definitely feels a more "homey" type environment than the location in Kahalui that closed down due to the pandemic. My only wish is they have larger seating area.
Such a fantastic option to have great local food. I had the Kalua Pork Quesadilla served with guacamole and tortilla chips and my partner had the Kalua plate that comes with plenty of pork along with Mac salad and rice. The food was affordable and quick. They get busy with visitors and locals. I wish I had found it earlier. Go!
Da kitchen has become our regular stop for lunch after snorkeling. The food is great! Fried Musubi is impressive! The portion is huge so we ordered one main and one appetizer, which is more than enough for 2 of us!
Stopped in for kalbi ribs. It was Delicious! 6 ribs + 2 huge scoops of rice and sides. Wife had the Fish tempura and rice. Large portions for the price. Small place with 6 tables tucked in a corner of a strip mall. Would visit again.
It's March 2022. Da Kitchen is OPEN! They are back! COVID did a number on all of us. But when I heard Da Kitchen had closed up, I was super bummed out. Scrolling through places to eat local food and craving a "GOOD" hawaiian plate, I was SUPER stoked to see that Da kitchen had re-opened in this little Kihei mall. Same onoliciuos food, same huge portions, great GREAT service. We were told their going for word of mouth advertising, so pass the word folks. Da Kitchen is open, alive, and kickin in Kihei next to Longs drugs and Amigos. Rating doesn't allow for more than 5 stars so 5 it is. ???
