Great place to eat good seafood. The quality of the fish and chips were great! Their coleslaw wasn't as good as other places on the island, and same with the coconut shrimp.But the workers were great and the location surrounding (Kihei) is fun to explore. The prices were different in store than online. Sort of high compared to other places as well.
The 4 of us all ordered the coconut shrimp, It was delicious! We all four loved it which is a rare occurrence among my family! I’d really hoped we could make another trip before we had to leave the island.
These are the best fish tacos I have ever had. The fish, sauce and salsa were all delicious. Messy to eat but well worth it. Lives up to the hype! Highly recommend!
Looking for a quick lunch near our accommodations we found good reviews of Coconuts Fish Cafe. Located on the second floor of a shopping center (not ideal for mobility challenged patrons) I had the grilled fish plate on brown rice and my wife had the seafood chowder. Both were excellent. The relaxed atmosphere is great for families and the service was fast and excellent. A great choice for lunch or a casual dinner.
We wanted a relatively quick but not walk-up dinner for our first night in Maui and we got our wish! The Ono and Mahi Mahi with brown rice was SO good! We had great service and were very happy with our food.
I'd heard about the fish tacos but we went for the fried coconut shrimp and they were delicious. We highly recommend this place.
Popular fish tacos finally stopped by after passing by for years. Friends rave about this place. Had fish tacos. Seared Ahi sandwich and calamari plate. Food was very good taco are not traditional style I'm used to in So. Cal. But very good. Little pricey if on a buget but you get plenty enough to eat. Fast friendly eat in or outside.
Great food, very tasty, fresh and healthy.In the current situation, the prices are fair and actually good for what you get - you cannot compare with three-months-ago prices.Outside seating is nice, and enjoyable.
We here on recommendation of many islanders to get the fish tacos. I have to admit I've never had a fish taco. I cannot say enough on how good they were. You get 2 and I wouldn't have finished 3 if it came that way. Very good portion and awesome flavor. My only complaint would be I would have liked the slaw shredded but that's me. Not cheep for sure but worth every dime!
We never miss a trip to Coconut's when vacationing in Maui. The fish tacos are amazing. You get 2 tacos per order. So flavourful. A must if you enjoy mango. Keep in mind, they are a bit messy to eat. We also enjoy the coconut shrimp. You order inside, then find your table. They bring the food to you. The staff is always extremely friendly. A must try!!!
