this place is in Kihei and close to Wailea for food. Ate there for 2 different dinners for take out: Items ordered night 1: Mahi grilled over rice x2 Kalua pork over rice Chicken Alfredo Everybody thought their food was pretty good that night. Next night - Mahi grilled over rice Fish and chips x 2 Grilled chicken salad with a pineapple vinaigrette Fish and chips were overcooked and the fish was tough and not flaky Mahi was good Chicken salad was good Overall- if you are looking for well prepared non fried fish - this is good If you are looking for Fish and Chips - there are better out there in the area….

We ate at Coconut's Fish Cafe a few times while staying in Kihei and each time our food was excellent. The service at the front counter was always friendly too which we appreciated given how busy the restaurant was (so a lot of pressure on staff) and the fact it seems they are short staffed too. For the fish and chips it was lovely trying the crumbed coating rather than there being a deep fried batter. We also tried the fish tacos and they were also really good. Personally I feel like one order of fish tacos could be shared between two adults as the portion is generous. Definitely give Coconut's Fish Cafe a go while staying in Maui.

There was nothing g famous about these fish tacos. Overloaded with lettuce and small pieces of fish. I had to pick through all the lettuce and tomatoes to find the small pieces of fish. Over $16 for two tacos, I was disappointed with what I received.

We strolled in at noon'ish on a Thursday afternoon. There was plenty of seating indoor and it, and although they're 70% staffed at the moment, the servers were kind, efficient, and lovely.I ordered the grilled Mahi Mahi salad (5 stars!!), my kids got the fish&chips and mac&cheese off the keiki menu, and my husband got the poke bowl. We've been to 2 other Coconut's Cafes and their food is consistently delicious! My son is the pickier of my 2 kids and he LOVED the fish&chips!! He ate everything and can't wait to come back!

We got the Macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi as well as the fish tacos. I preferred the tacos as the crusted mahi mahi was a bit dry and I wasn’t a fan of the red sauce/topping.The mango salsa on top of the tacos was delicious and the coleslaw is awesome. It has a fun surfing theme inside, it’s nice and cool with A/C if you want to escape the maui heat for a bit, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Fish ? tacos and coconut ? shrimp ? were amazing. Their unique take on coleslaw and the coconut based homemade dressing was the best I’ve ever had. Would eat here multiple times.

Great casual spot for a quick lunch. The coconut shrimp was probably the best I have ever had. The fish tacos were also great and filling.

Fish tacos and the spicy poke

We always stop at Coconut's for their delicious fish tacos and a bowl of chowder. The selection of beers is fine, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

We had dinner here and it was nice to see more local dishes. There is no reservations and it may have a line. The food imo took a little long, but we were in no rush. The staff was helpful and kind. The foods worth the try.
