I bought 2 two combo bentos plus a Sukiyaki bowl. Our total bill came out to $51.30. It was my turn to treat my family, so I handed the cashier a $100 bill. She asked another employee if they had change for a $100. She came back and said they don’t have change. REALLY???. My change would’ve been $48.70 and they don’t have that much in the till?.Well, we got home and some miso soup spilled in the bag, the dipping sauce for my tempura spilled in the bento, miso soup was cold.NEVER,EVER will I eat there again. Find another restaurant who has better customer service.

We used to really like this place. It has sadly gone downhill over the last 2 years. We went last night and the place was empty for a Friday night.The staff were friendly enough, but got our order wrong, the meat portions were very small, and they give you a pixie cup for water, which I promptly and easily knocked over and got water all over our table and floor. Girl was very nice trying to clean with a paper towel when she really needed a real towel and mop.I also noticed the place was very dirty. The floors, tables and hard wooden seats in the cracks. It would take just some vinegar and water and some good scrubbing to spiffy it up.But the worst was the rice. I expected perfectly cooked rice In a Japanese restaurant but it was so dry and hard like it sat under a heat lamp all day.We loved the background music but it was too loud and didn’t reflect the kind of establishment we felt it should have.Unfortunately, we have no plans to return. Hopefully the owners and management will take a little more pride in their business and make the necessary changes.
You can order bentos/bowls/sushi or grab what they have on the line. Everything was good but some tempura items on the line were a bit old/cold (they'd been open for about 1 hour). American style sushi was good but there was a bit of shrimp shell still. Will go back to try again.
Food is great, simply the best
YUM ? Grab & Go gyoza is soooo good. Along with their other cheap fried items in the line. I’ve had the sushi, the hot bowls, but the POKE BOWL is the best I’ve ever had. The rice is amazing, the ahi is amazing. Just perfect ? The price is reasonable too! + LOVE THE WORSHIP MUSIC PLAYING. Praising God in all things, love it. Come here.
I go here about 2to sometimes 10 times a week to pick up food (delivery) and 80% of my time I'm met up with attitude, the worst service possible and I'm not even an "eating" customer. The food looks good and prepared well. But because of the service I have recieved MULTIPLE times in this delivery business I will never eat there or pick up any deliveries again. If your looking for fast food, then go for it, but the service, especially the guy that looks like he just woke up at the cash register, is the worst... one star for the worst service in Hawaii
The misoyaki butter fish is to die for! They give a great portion and the sushi rolls are amazing as well
With all of hype you hear about this place it turned out to be quite the disappointment the trio: ahi, shrimp tempura, and very small portion spicy ahi $15. They gave more rice then entree will not be coming back!
This is going to be a very honest review. Usually I don't do reviews on food but this place was pretty bad. First off the service was very bad. There was a long line just to order and then they only give you a ticket to pay for your food. Which is super confusing because there was a lot of people waiting to pick up their food and a line to pay for the bill. Also the manager was super rude and was never calling for people to pick up previous orders holding up the line and was on her phone. The workers were trying to help but she kept on forcing them to do other things then to help customers. If you think the food is good because of the long line don't be fooled because it was really mediocre for the price. Literally ordered a bowl and most of it was burnt stale rice and a small portion of the actual meat. So save your money and go somewhere else
