Everything about Mekiko Cantina was amazing. The food was authentic and far from ordinary, the drinks were incredible and the people were fantastic. Highly recommend the Mango Margaritas

The staff is professional, the restaurant is clean and stylish and the food is spectacular. I had the best chicken salad I have ever had in my life at this establishment and I’m a real foodie. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the place. The prices are also very reasonable especially considering the area. If I could give them 10 stars I would. We will definitely be back!
We had steak fajitas, chicken tortilla soup and fruit juice. Props to the soup for having slices of avocado in the bowl. The fajitas were cooked perfectly with guacamole, sour cream and salsa. Nice but not super flavorful. Same thing for the rice - kinda bland. Staff were efficient and courteous. Not quite 5 stars so 4.
Twenty minute wait which was ok but then when seated another 30 minutes to get the attention of the manager. Three of us finally were served with the third member of the party waiting another 15 minutes. Food was bland and served cold. Drinks were excellent and timely. Bartender was excellent. Very good ambiance with a modern clean look. Appeared to me more help was needed. Big price, average food, great drinks, coupled with a long wait.
The good part: great location, nice patio, both indoor and outdoor seating with social distancing. The margaritas at the bar were outstanding. The bartender did a great job.The not so good: we were seated in about 20 minutes which was fine but then they forgot about us. Had to ask the manager if he could find our waiter. Food was served luke warm, food did not come out at the same time, not much flavor and it took forever for the food to come out of the kitchen.Mekilo Cantina is expensive. Mediocre experience.
I will give it another try and hope for better. The chips would have been better if freshly made instead of from a bag. Salsa and guacamole were pretty good. Tacos were simple but good. Margarita was yummy. Service was great!
Food was excellent. Servers very competent and customer focused. Margherita’s, Tacos fajitas and enchiladas were excellent. The chips are made fresh and served warm. We enjoy Mexican food all over America. And Mekiko is now at the very top of our list
