Ate the beef stew in a bowl. The beef stew tastes imitation and sweetened. The gravy not natural flavors from the beef. The beef pieces need to cut smaller ti bite size and the meat is tough. Too much starch thickened gravy. Over kill, looks imitation.
Several reviews mentioned the lady who runs this place as being rude-- I decided that didn't bother me and decided to go anyway, and wish I hadn't. She was very rude when we asked very basic questions like "what dishes are popular here?" or "Does this meal come with rice?" And while the food was OK her attitude is a genuine reason I won't go back.
Our food was pretty good (and huge portions). However, I was annoyed that they would not let my daughter use their bathroom. This should be a common courtesy to paying customers.
A must visit on my trips to Hawaii. Classic plate lunch spot with consistent food. Macaroni salad is amazing, go with the chicken katsu or kalua pork and always get a spam musubi.
Food here is absolutely amazing! I went twice in a row because it was soooo good. I got the bbq mix plate and all three meats were so flavorful and moist. Would highly recommend going here.
Food was good. But as the last reviewer stated, lady at counter was definitely not friendly. Dropped my food at the front counter and turned her back to me, as if I was inconveniencing her. And on top of that no dine in. I wouldn’t go back to this location.
Good food and fairly priced. Wait time was also pretty short. Giving it 4 stars because you get 90% rice and only 10% of other ingredients like meat, veggies, etc.
Awesome, love this place e especially when I thinking what I want to eat and it's my go to when I want that #7 always my favorite with side gingah sauce!! Oh yeah great service and fast??
Always delicious food and A LOT of it!!!!I wish the cashier had given us the teriyaki sauce that she had said she would. The rice is too dry to eat without it ?
