It was alright place to eat, not a big fan. There is a train going through here a tourist train, the parking you have to pay, and not always available so it hard to get parking here when it busy. This place is good for those that are visiting and stay in the Aulani resort and other resort near by cause you can just walk here. Hope you enjoy!!!
Great place for an evening out. Monkeypod is an outstanding place for an evening meal, a place to meet or just spend time with family. There is also a coffee shop. Incredible atmosphere! The only downside is parking. I usually try to park on the Monkeypod side, make two tours of the parking lot. If there still are no parking spots available I cross the street into that parking lot via a one way enters car. Same procedure. Eventually I have always found parking.
“Auntie”Joanna was amazing. We had an omelet with pancakes and French toast with toppings. Both were delicious and huge portions!
Parking here is terrible. There have never been enough stalls and most of the stalls are too small for a midsized car. Half the shops have closed up since covid but the remaining shops are still pretty good. Local favorites are Black Sheep Creamery and Monkeypod. Everytime we head out to Ko'olina, we try to stop at Monkeypod for food.
Few stores; a small grocery store,high end women's clothing, ice cream shop,coffee shop,etc. Close to Aulani,Four Seasons,Marriott Vacation resort,etc.
We’ve been to over 30 restaurants, bars, tours, etc since we arrived in Oahu and without exception they rejected our printed vaccine exemption and wanted to see the safe travels website barcode (from our phones) and license/ID - reasonable and sensible- so we stopped carrying our printed vaccine cards. So after waiting 30 minutes for a table, eggs and things told us they do not accept the official safe travels website barcode/ detailed information including a picture of our vaccination card and they only accept a printed copy. The person at the counter said we should have read the sign. NEITHER reasonable or sensible. They make their own rules and don’t inform the customers when you sign into the iPad waitlist. Instead they expect you to anticipate that they have their own rules and to read notes apparently posted in the window. Not sure if the food is good but don’t matter… I would never go to an establishment that disrespects its customers like that so this is of my list for future trips.
Great breakfast spot. The pineapple pancakes are delicious. Staff is great and they work as a team. Scotty at the front door is a hoot! We will be back again. Mahalo
Great breakfast and huge servings! A Pineapple & Cheesecake filing crepe was as good cold the next day as it was fresh and warm the day before!
Amazing food and service. Got there early, 3rd in line that morning. Ordered several things and a to go box. Food was good and hot, service was great kept the coffee going. Was in Hawaii during Christmas and place was always busy in the morning so get there early.
Our family was overjoyed to find this gem in the mall. We got a reservation, and ordered a large variety for our group of seven. We loved the cinnamon "panasadas". The breakfast burrito was great, the pancakes were incredible. Fast service. We'll be back!
