Loved the food. Shrimp is always choice . Clams and mussels are always delicious. You can't go wrong with potatoes and sausage to round out your bag. One of my go to places when celebrating little victories. And easily two thumbs up for take out too!
We ordered King Crab with mild spice and Cajun seasoning. Not only was the food not spicy, the sauce was almost non existent. There wasn't nearly enough food in there for the price to be worth it. There was only 2 small slices of sausage in there and 2 potatoes. Small king crab and maybe 5 or 6 shrimp. The clams didn't even have some of the clams in the shell or in the bag. Muscles were the same way. Probably won't be back to this location. We will make the drive downtown to go to Boiling Crab.
We got crawfish combo & deep fried oysters w/ Cajun fries. Seasoned mild, the mix sauce. It’s okay the seasoning/ sauce. My son enjoyed his dinner so it was good overall. Service can be more attentive.
Gotta get messy and try the Snow Crab combo. This place offers a choice of seasonings and spiciness. I get Da Mix medium, can't go wrong with that. There are some corn, sausages, potatoes, and tons of garlic butter to drizzle on your rice. This is one of the best in the area.
Pretty good cajun food. The combo was good to feed 2 ppl. Kind of wish the sausage pieces were bigger; got 2 small slices. They also charge extra for refills. Otherwise good taste.and got me pretty full.
The food was good, minus the shrimp. ALL the shrimp were mushy in texture, which wasn't delightful at all. The flavor options are great. "DA MIX" sauce slaps, and has so much flavor. . . Especially if you get it spicyyyyy. Overall, not too shabby. It's a little pricy for what you get. 1lb of crayfish for $15, and $64 for crab legs. ? in the crab leg bag was (small) legs from 1.5 crabs, 2 small cuts of sausage and 1 small potato, plus the mushy shrimp, mussels and clams. The flavor is on point, and the service was good, which is why I give it 4 ?. Not a bad place to go for occasions.
Great food and worth the visit. Reservations recommended even for one. The place gets pretty busy. The food is great and fresh. The staff are humble and very friendly. I get my seafood steamed with the sauce on the side.
Not very Cajun. I've been to some great Cajun restaurants. This menu didn't have what I was expecting. More or less just a typical fish fry. Ok, not great.
Save yourself the disappointment and go to Boiling Crab. I ordered a crawfish combo with the mixed sauce and when we opened the bag, we genuinely thought they forgot the sauce. You know, the most important part of a Cajun-style seafood boil. But no, they didn’t forget it. It was just all the water at the bottom. Rather than tasting like a buttery, seasoned, garlicky concoction, the sauce was a strangely sweet (and still somehow incredibly bland) water. Almost like a weird fish broth. This is actually our second time getting their seafood boils, kind of just as a “hey, let’s give them another try since we don’t want to drive all the way to Honolulu lol”. But for real, I regret not driving the extra forty minutes. Please, do yourself a favor and go to some other seafood boil place.
Best food I have ever had!!!! I eat here all the time. I highly recommend. ❤️I love spicy to and to request a heat level of 20 and man do they deliver. :) I love mixing regular sauce with the hot one! Best flavors and fresh! Today is the first day I’m ordering delivery and couldn’t be more excited! If I could give 6 stars I would!
