I had some time to eat while I was out on the west side and stopped by to get something quick to eat. I saw “I ❤️ Korean Bbq” and decided to go in. When I first walked in I noticed that it was very clean and lots to offer when choosing my food. I ordered the kalbi. I was able to get 4 choices of sides with my meal. Once I received my order, I ate on one of the many tables provided by the mall. The meat was very tender and flavorful. The rice was cooked perfectly. I’m Asian so the rice needs/must be good. Hahahah. Anyways, I was very pleased with my meal and will be going back shortly.
Me and my mom have been coming to this restaurant for a while now and the korean food here is one of the best on island. There are a handful of korean bbq places close to where we live, but we make the drive to Kapolei just to eat here. The portions are great and one regular plate is equivalent to about 2 servings, so I usually get a mini plate if I come alone. Our favorite dishes are the Tofu Soup, Meat Jun, and Bibimbap. The sides are also super fresh and delicious. I'd highly recommend trying their kimchi (one of my faves). You really get your money's worth here, especially with how much sides they give.
This place is 10/10. The food here is very delicious much better then other Korean bbq places on island. Every time I come here I usually order kalbi and meatjun, their poke combos, or soup. They have 5 different types of poke which are spicy salmon, wasabi soyu salmon, spicy ahi, ahi ocean salad, and kimchee poke. Out of those five my favorite two are the spicy ahi and wasabi soyu salmon because their just incredibly good. For their soups I really enjoy there Mandoo Kook Soo and Yook Gae Jang. The food is always fresh and delicious. Not only that but the portions are so huge, I can’t really finish it all and just save it for my next meal. I would definitely consider coming here if you want to try some Korean bbq.
Born and raised Korean, this is the best Korean bbq on the island I've found. Great quality meat, amazing seasoning/sauces, perfectly piled sides, kimchi is delicious and fresh. The only area for improvement would be re-examining the balance between creating pretty/presentable plates, and the time it takes to get through a single customer.
The main entree (garlic chicken) tasted old and overcooked. I asked for a replacement meal very nicely and stated that there was something wrong with the garlic chicken. The manager was rude and confrontational. She started yelling at me that she was the cook and that the chicken was fresh. She demanded I show her my box of food so that she could count the chicken pieces in it.She said that I took a bite of the food so it couldn’t be replaced. Of course I tried the chicken. I didn’t realize that it would taste old until I tried it. I took a couple of bites and couldn’t eat it. It was terrible! I will NEVER eat here again. The way the manager treats customers here is deplorable! The customer service at this establishment is deplorable! I would NOT recommend eating here! I will NEVER return.

I went back to this spot and ordered the Kalbi....and I swear everything on that plate was on point.
Large portions of food. Overall I gave 3 stars because each food has some room for improvements.1. Kalbee(korean rib) wasn't too sweet which is great! But it is bit salty and lacking in flavor. Maybe because I asked for no sauce on top.2. Beef jeon was bit too sweet. The meat was marinaded and made it very tender. But I find it to be too sweet and too soggy.3. Macaroni had too much mayo.it was the only thing I couldn't finish4. Chapchea was lacking in flavor. More onions and mushrooms?5. Kimchee was only slightly fermented which to me is the worst stage of kimchee. I actually couldn't finish this either.
First time getting food there. Kalbi is already cut up between the short rib. The Loco Garlic Chicken are delicious morsels of very flavorful chicken bites.THE BANCHAN SHINES ABOVE ALL THOUGH!Very delicious food over all and definietly would recommend you to try it out!
Such great quality Kalbi. I’m so impressed every time. Also the Namuro/dark greens they serve are the best!! So fresh and so healthy. Definitely try it out!!❤️
