Restaurant cuts corners with the quality of food provided. It was evident on many different entrees that my party ordered. I guess if your desperate you can go there otherwise I’d recommend going anywhere but there.
Very good food, staff very friendly. My first experience there I walked in on a irate customer. I have to say the staff treated her with so much respect even though she was very rude and belittling the cashier. I felt so bad for the cashier. The owner/manager not sure was awesome handled it with class. I've gone there a few more times. Portions are very generous and staff was great.
Called to order & the women who picked up the phone kept rushing me when I was still trying to decide being that this was my first time eating here. She kept saying “ok is that it” Then she asked for my debit card info over the phone which I know it was just for my food but I didn’t feel comfortable giving anyone that info over the phone. First time a restaurant asked me that over the phone. Food was okay, took 4 bites & wasn’t excited about it anymore because it wasn’t hot (taco bowl with steak) & didn’t even wanna try my taco plate. I’m not usually one to complain, but I’m never coming back here. Wasted around $34
Tried El Mariachi last night for the first time. It's a small restaurant, they were busy. It was a Sunday evening and they had all tables full. We had minor issues like the waiter giving us a cheese Chile Relleno instead of a meat filled, which was okay we just let the waiter know so we would be charged correctly. Prices are high and the food portions are large. Food okay not something that makes me want to return again.
Without a doubt, the best Mexican restaurant we've discovered on the West Side/Kapolei side. Now that Just Tacos in Koolina is gone, theres not much as far as great well made authentic Mexican fare. Try this place, plus the bonus is the pricing is VERY fair and even better than other places that are MORE expensive than they are!
Excellent food and service! The Campeon burrito is delicious and huge. Big enough to feed 2 people. Ask for the habanero salsa for that extra kick! It’s amazing! I’ll be back soon!
For what it's worth, the food is ok. Unfortunately we visited on Cinco de mayo, to find the kitchen overwhelmed with takeout orders and dine in. Staff is a little Unorganized and inside is outdated. They are surviving from the pandemic but feel they need to dust off the rust.
The best Mexican food ...I was raised in Mexico City and so far this is the best one @ HNL.. you have to try it ...Gracias !

I got the cheese enchiladas today and extra rice. The rice was unfortunately over cooked and hard. The sauce on the enchiladas didn't taste the best. I also had a carne asada taco and that was alright but I think I was just really disappointed more about the rice overall because that should be easy and not over cooked.
