My wife had the Chicken Serrantino and I had the Chicken Assaggio. We both opted to have veggies with the dishes versus linguini and both dishes were Fantastic.
Great service. The mozzarella appetizer could have been hotter. My veal picatta was perfect but hubby said his chicken parmesean could be better.
Very good food and peaceful atmosphere. Large portions even on the small plate. The hot bread brought to the table was so fresh and tasty. Our waitress was very attentive.
I had an impressionable dining experience. From what I observed, there wasn’t a dish that didn’t look delicious. I wanted to taste everything that passed my table. Highly recommended.
Just dined in table for 6 reservation food was above average and a large plate could easily satisfy two people. The kitchen was the saving grace of this restaurant. The waitress was ok but didn’t help bus table or refill beverages. The busser serviced our table more than the waitress. Well rather two women on our table. The youngest sat in front of me and we both ordered the same drink as the other woman, iced tea, mine was empty she had very little left and our glasses were touching. He offered her a refill skipped me and immediately offered the other woman a refill of her iced tea before making his way to the kitchen to which I needed to intercept him in order to get my refill. He later came to put our orders in takeouts. He continued to service the entire table talking to the two women typically others only if they talk to him first. One of the women asked him to put my things in a takeout because I was getting passed up for service yet again. I was one the first people to finish and sat in the seat closest to the kitchen there is no excuse here. He proceeds to assist everyone else on the table and another table before we again need to ask him to box my things. After dessert he comes by to offer water and all but one water is low he goes up to the youngest on the table offers her a water refill then leaves. She did not have the least amount of water remaining on the table and most of our table was below half and should have received a refill. Word of advice instill better service standards to your front of house staff.
I happened to be nearby to visit a friend so we came here. It's just okay. The dishes taste different from the other Assaggios and the waiter was unfriendly when I ate here. I was disappointed because I go to the one in Ala Moana alot and they are alot nicer and food is better.
Have been here many, many times. This was the worst. My wife ordered a New York steak medium rare. The steak came medium to medium well. We tried to send it back. They refused to recook her a steak. The waiter felt terrible. The cook refused to redo it. The manager, Garner, told the waiter to tell us that is the way they cook medium rare... disappointing... I have never been to a restaurant... and we eat out a lot... where they would not redo a steak.. One in our party ordered a dish to go, but the waiter didn't put it in until close to the end... the kitchen was already cleaning up and refused to do the order. It was 7:50 pm. Google and the company website showed the restaurant was open until 9 pm. I asked to speak to the Manager, Garner...they say he already left. I have often heard people dissing Assagios but I have always supported. Never again. That was our last time at Assagios Kapolei.
The service was the best, our waiter was very friendly and prompt. The food was very good. Nice and relaxing dinner during our honeymoon.
If you're picking up a phone order, then go directly to the bar; the bartender will help you, as the wait staff are quite busy and may not help you right away. The food is awesome, and the wait is short: two salads and two entrees took just 20 minutes. Hooray!
Very disappointed website stated they were open for lunch and when we arrived discovered they open at 5pm dinner service. Come on Assaggio's this not good customer service not updating your hours of operation we wasted our time driving all the way out to Kapolei.
