Our tour of 19 people have stopped by to have lunch here. We all love the chicken here and the sauce is very tasty. But we had to rate it down 2 stars because of the customer service was so bad. There was only lady who served us that was so rude. She stopped my friends to get water and said "it's not for us", but another group of American came in and were served very nice with water and tea. That made us thinking that we were discriminated because we are Asian. So all Asian, be aware of this restaurant. I hope the restaurant's owner would see our honest comment here and retrain his waitress.
Asian beware, you may get mistreated and unfair from their customer service (especially the old lade served us). Our group stopped by this restaurant to have lunch here. All feedbacks i got from friends and review online is for the food here and it is obviously good. However the reason i gave only 3 stars is from the customer service from that lady. She was rude with us when we tried to get drinking water for our group( here we have to serve water ourselves) . She went out from kitchen and said out loud "the water is not for you", i was kind of shocked from her reaction toward us as their customers. We were about to put the cups back down but she said it is ok since we already took filled up the cup with water. The moment later there was a group of Americans came in and she treated them DIFFERENTLY. She smiled with them and said from here you can take ice water or tea if you like. At this moment when I am writing this review, I still don't get why she treated us like that.....maybe discrimination? I hope the owner can see this review and fix this kind of attitude as soon as possible.
The smell and the smoke attracted us the first time on our way back from Kualoa ranch. My husband was craving for it so much we had to come back on our next trip to Oahu. Huli Huli chicken entree is the best option. Skip the salad. Extra sauce is an additional $.
Foodies must stop here! You can smell the chicken cooking on an outdoor rotisserie from the moment you drive up. The staff are so friendly and have a great system in place, guiding you into the store, taking your temperature, offering hand sanitizer, checking vaccination cards for dine in customers and more. Ordering was easy, we got two chicken plates. The entree consists of half a chicken, rice, macaroni salad and a special sauce. The special sauce is so good, the best way to describe it is a juicier and tastier soy-vinegar dumpling sauce. The chicken is so good and the macaroni salad is some of the best we’ve had on the island. We ate outside on the provided picnic tables. Flies will fight you for your food, sit on the table nearest the parking lot to avoid them. Overall, a great experience and amazing lunch.

The allure of that delicious smell from the road got us!!! The pit outside was going and the smell promised something AMAZING. At about $15/plate the food was sadly just alright. We had a chicken plate and shrimp plate and it helped to fill our tummies but didn't quite hit the spot the way we had hoped.
No indoor dining currently, but tables outside. Food was excellent. Two had BBQ teriyaki beef, one shrimp. Best macaroni salad I have ever eaten.
Probably the food highlight of my whole trip. I had this Huli Chicken on my first day in Hawaii and was craving it all week! It's so good and the sides are delicious. I only wished I would have come back more times during my stay on the island. The people are very nice and polite. I tried Mike's Huli Chicken as well but it just didn't compare as well as this place. My #1 food recommendation for anyone in Oahu!
Mask, temperature check, and sanitizer required to walk in. The staff was rude when I didn’t realize a temperature check was needed (I accidentally walked right up to the counter to order) V card or test required for outdoor seating. If you like this vibe then this place is for you. Chicken was bland. I’ve had rotisserie chicken from Costco with more flavor. Couldn’t get pass the smell of the shrimp to try it. Smelled like dirty water rather than garlic. For the price $15+/ a plate, it’s not worth it. Plenty of other places on island with better food, price, and more welcoming atmosphere.
Yummy is an understatement for the chicken here. This place is delicious, and it a must stop. They have a good size menu and drinks as well. The restaurant is inside a gift shop. The dining takes place outside only with very limited seating.
