I cannot say enough about this location. The staff is excellent and Ty is out favorite the fish basket is the best on the island, and I have tried dozens. The fries, whether garlic, truffle, or sweet potato (ones we have tried) are not greasy or heavy. The fish has almost no breading!! Thats huge! Their lager, “Kickin’ Ale” is crisp with no after taste (unlike Maui Bikini Blonde). We have had the catfish po’Boy, and the seafood boil with mussels and shrimp. Everything has been timely, served hot, and delicious. Every time we visit Windward Mall we have to eat here. Even the coleslaw is light and refreshing without being coated in Mayo and onions like most on island. They serve beer and hard seltzers, see pic for the list, and they ate working on their wine and liquor license now. Oh, did I mention the covered patio? Perfect summer breeze locale after a long day of shopping LOL, or beach time. It must seat 30-40 out here. This is NOT a greasy spoon. Go! You wont be disappointed. Its great!!!!
This is to the boss of kickin Kajun the male waiter. Should get a raise. Why because he bought the oreo ice cream for me. And because of him we are going back. He was the best
We ordered no clams. Bag came with clams they took our bag fished them out. Then we didn't get corn either
I would give them a zero if it was possible. Blah, blah, blah... Horrible service, cold food that was taken back and just put in the fryer again, they totally gave us the feel that they didn't want us to be there in the first place. The thing was, everyone in the restaurant had the same experience we did! There were so many unhappy customers! You go to a place like this and you expect to see people with huge smiles on their faces. Yeah, not that night.
Had an awesome time here! I've been craving a good po boy for months now and this place hit the spot. My wife got the gator bites and they were great too! (real alligator!). I would suggest getting special fries as an appetizer (like the truffle fries) only if you don't plan to have fries with your main course because they give you a large portion.I'll be coming back!
Awesome service and food is really good, prices went up just a bit but still worth it.
Strongly recommend signature sauce (Garlic butter). I've been to many Asian Cajun places all over united states and so far I like this place the most. Solid, great find in Kaneohe.
