Lots of dairy free gluten free options! Most Korean BBQ places don't have sauces or marinades for their meat that are gluten free but this place does! The yuzu salad with house sauce was my go to a few times too! Very yummy
My and my wife went there for lunch. It was my first time and I was really excited. My wife however, had been to Gyu-Kaku a few times in the past. Our server mentioned that we could eat all we wanted (based on the package we selected), but if the food were left over, we’d need to pay for it, which we found fair. The quantity was fine and we didn’t have any leftovers. However, I liked just 25% of the items we ordered and didn’t like others. Specially, it was very difficult for us to cook the meat on the grill because it kept sticking and getting burnt. We did ask our server to grease it again but that didn’t help. Overall, I’d say you can go there for a good experience but you can probably get better food somewhere else.
The food is okay. The cheese mandoo were good. The service wss lacking as the waitress forgot several dishes even if we asked multiple times. Maybe it was a bad night but even the things that she did remember took a really long time to get to us.
We've been to a few different of these restaurants. It was okay but for some reason the cuts off meat that we had were not as tender as other Gyukaku places. It might if just been the day we went.
I haven't had a poor experience here until this visit... mine was the last order of the evening after waiting to be seated. How can the last order come out cold? My waitress suggested something other than my initial thought. It was tepid & half the size of what I wanted. I wasn't allowed to add another dish to my order. I left hungry & irritated. It will be a while before I go back.
Previously a 4 - solid chain for Korean BBQ.Now? 0 stars. They have physical menus, we have used them before (about 2 weeks ago.) The host didn't even look when he went to "go check."Went downhill from there.Left before food was even ordered. Never again.Take your business to the Kapolei location and shut these people down.
We strolled in after many failed attempts at finding an open restaurant at 7p on a Tuesday. We couldn’t eat here because they were fully booked until closing. Rating is based simply on the fact that they weren’t taking in any customers. But it’s likely due to COVID19 restrictions/mandates and also that most other restaurants are closing early now
We did all you can eat and did not disappoint. The filet is perfect, the corn is amazing, everything was great. Thank you staff! Our server Gavin was so attentive and personable!
We love this place. They were so efficient about the vaccine mandate info gathering. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Cooking at your own table is really cool. All of the meat was so tender and flavorful. We were able to order some of our meats on the Happy Hour menu and that saved us some money. But of course, we just used it to order dessert! We highly recommend this restaurant.
One of my favorite restaurants to eat at! Even after working there I’m still obsessed with going to eat there. They keep everything super clean and sanitized. They really do everything possible to make sure is a clean environment for customers. Not to mention the food is amazing! There’s quiet a bit of option for vegans too. Their menu is also great for those who are gluten-free or have allergies.
