The Windward bar is Closed as of Oct 11th due to Covid restrictions. The fish tacos need to come with a creme sauce.
Bartenders rude every time I’ve been here.
Nice and easy considering it is inside a grocery store. There is an outdoor patio and right now the interior has limitations.
You order at the bar and find a seat inside or out on the patio. They have specials each day and we tried several things on our visit. We like the hamburgers cooked how you like. The fish tacos are ok. The pizza is good. We ordered a whole one and took the remainder home. Our absolute favorite is the Kailua Pork Nachos. A generous platter chocked full of goodies. Best deal there. It can get crowded, especially after work. Outside is mainly long tables and inside you find more two and four tops. Live music sometimes inside. Can get a bit noisy but it is fun. Great selection of beer and wine selection is ok. We just enjoy relaxing and watching people
Great stop. Very casual. Plenty of free parking. Easy to pick up food in store if you need a snack. Staff is always friendly. Easy to wheel in the baby stroller. They also have TVs for sports events.
Wasn’t impressed with the Mai Tai but the wine was okay. They have quite a few beers on tap. Can be quite loud/noisy both inside and outside and isn’t a lot room to sit but I was generally pretty content to let my son order a pizza while I had a few drinks.
