I've eaten here countless times and often bring visiting guests to this place. It's always a hit! Friendly, quick service and fun atmosphere. Dine-in or takeout offered. Menu consists of a variety of tacos (house made tortillas!), quesadillas, and few other items. The fish tacos tend to be the most popular, but I'd highly recommend the vegan tacos to anyone because they're just delicious! Beer, wine, and cocktails are also available (Margarita Oaxaquena is pretty darn wonderful).
We loved the chips and guacamole so simple and so so good. I had the vegetable quesadilla, amazing! Good margarita! Easy level of mezcal so I could handle it. Everyone enjoyed their food. We are all from Texas and grow up on Mexican so this was great, wish we had one back home!
Wow! I’ve been on island for almost a year and I’ve been looking for some authentic Hispanic food. And I think I’ve found it! The food was great! I had a Carne Asada quesadilla and an Elote with Horchata.The homemade salsas that are made compliment the dishes very well.My only critic I have is the price, $5 for one taco?, anywhere else on the mainland this would be crazy. But because it IS good and there is virtually no competition. They can charge what they please and people will pay. (Like me, I will pay again ?)

This place is legit!!! My husband and I live part of the year in México, so our standards for authentic tacos are high, and this did not disappoint!! They fill the tacos with so many goodies and don’t skimp at all on the ingredients. The corn tortillas are so delicious! The meat is tender and moist, but not greasy, and the home made salsas are absolutely delicious. Excellent authentic flavors and very friendly service!! It’s always a good sign when the people working actually speak Spanish. Gracias Taqueria El Gallo Rosa! We will be back for sure! Probably tomorrow, lol. Ten stars if I could! This is the best Mexican food on island for sure.
It was a good taco place. Haven't had al pastor in a while and I really enjoyed it. All of the tacos we had were very enjoyable. Must try
This was my first visit and it definitely will not be my last! The restaurant is clean, the employees were friendly, and the food was sooooo good! Definitely a place to check out when you're craving legit tacos!
We sampled many of the tacos. They were all Outstanding! My favorite was the fish tacos. Far and away the best I ever had. I'm going back.
This is the best Mexican food on Oahu. It’s perfect after a day in Lanikai. I recommend the fried fish taco, it’s the best taco on the menu. Don’t miss the Mexican corn on the cob or horchata, sooo yummy. The Chips and quac were really good too. I tried a quesadilla and it was good as well, but the fish taco is better. Don’t miss eating here, it’s so good and the service was quick and good. Enjoy! ?
This place is way over price. The food is horrible. I would never tell anybody to waste there money there.Chips were brought at a grocery store. My food was burnt and had no taste. Pitiful excuse for a restaurant. I have never ever written a review and don’t mean to run down somebody’s businessbut this was a total waste of money.
