Every morning I venture out to this Starbucks. Truth, 8 out of 10 drinks are perfect.... Usually the weekends are a little rough. High turnover job, high school kids, training... who knows. BUT holy moly... that place is packed most of the time! Drive Thru and inside. One time i counted 15 staff working. The place is not that big. Wild.Anyhoo. It took more than 3 months to recognize me when i came in, that is where the 4 star plays. For me, i appreciate that in a business i frequent on average 2-3x a day. I am friendly, rarely rude (I am not perfect ?), always tip & my name is easy to remember. Other than that its a great Starbucks to frequent.If you do walk in... listen. They all say Welcome at different times. Like they are singing to you Welcome Welcome Wellllcommmeee. ? Its cute.
The baristas here are super nice and always have my order ready so quickly!
Giving 5 stars for coffee and service. I hate it has come to having to show vaccination status or negative testing to be able to sit and enjoy your favorite Starbucks but be prepared at this location

This Starbucks location is my first stop coming into Kailua. Staff has always been courteous. Interior is always spotlessly clean. Several dining options in the general area-less than a five minute walk. The only draw back is limited parking directly in front of the store but there is ample parking within a five minute walk. Drink quality is consistently outstanding.
My order is 99% right... The only thing I ever got wrong was instead of brown sugar with my oatmeal I got an extra packet of oatmeal ?. Nothing to complain about there.

Conflicted about this spot... The staff is usually good, but so many people hanging out including some pretty sketchy looking ones. This is more a reflection of the neighborhood than Starbucks itself. For all that it's overpriced now, downtown Kailua isn't cute and safe like it used to be.
Friendly staff. Useable bathrooms with outdoor and indoor seating.3 stars because it took awhile to get my order and it was not good. Seemed to use different beans/coffee and there was barely any vanilla or caramel flavour in my coffee.
