I got the regular cheeseburger and my mom got the pineapple teriyaki cheeseburger. It definitely isn’t the best burger ever or even the best burger in Hawaii, but it is a damn good burger. I suggest getting one of the more specialized burgers if you come such as the loco moco, pineapple teriyaki, or mahi mahi burger since those are ones that you probably can’t get elsewhere. Their burgers are made with certified angus (delicious!) and normally are cooked medium. We elected to eat them medium well and they were still juicy and delicious! The regular fries were really delicious and perfectly cooked, but their onion rings, sweet potato fries, and specialized fries would be great choices as well. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it wasn’t a MUST TRY, but it’s a great place and the owner and staff were very sweet and friendly. Similar to a previous post, I would also suggest parking in the back.
Mahaloha Burger in Kailua. Their menu board is simple but their delicious looking photos makes you undecided. We ordered the mahi mahi (fish) burger, mushroom swiss burger, pineapple teriyaki burger and garlic fries. The mahi mahi was a hearty chunk! The burger with a slice of pineapple was too thin. Could not really taste the pineapple. The fries itself was meaty and on the soft side which is just how I like it, however, I wish there was more garlic to it. The wait time was short, about ten minutes. There are three small tables and chairs outside the store under the awning for patrons to dine at. Free parking is available behind them.
I love there burgers and fries. I like the location too. Difficult to decide whether to get normal fries or sweet potatoes every time I go there. However, a sad thing is that recently I went there twice 2 months apart and the price for cheese burger got more expensive by $1.5. Wow.

This little food place is nestled in a row of other buildings. The best place to park is in the rear.When you go in you will see their menu up above. They have quite a few options of items. These items range from several styles of burgers, I got a very yummy one that had pineapple on it... more on that later. They also have hot dogs that you can order. Along with a few other items like pork and teriyaki. You can make it a combo with many different options ranging from fries, tater tots, onion rings and even sweet potato fries.The burger was cooked perfectly, not over done and was full of flavor. And the topings were just right to all blend together very well. The tater tots were cooked just right as well. They had a nice crispness to them and were salted just right.The only downside is that they had Pepsi products but no Mountain Dew, but that is not worth knocking them for. And it will take a little longer to get your food but it is all freshly cooked and very worth the wait.Definitely worth taking the time to check them out!
Got here right about opening time. I got the Swiss and mushroom burger and fries. Both were very tasty. My sister got onion rings which were also really good.
Great little spot for burgers! I tried the mahi mahi and it was delicious. There is limited seating inside and out so just be aware of that. Parking in the back of the restaurant for free.
We just moved here so clearly we are trying all of the restaurants on this island and this one did not disappoint! It was a little busy but I’m so impressed with the cashier. She was rolling to get everybody their food! She was so nice to us! The burger was so good but those garlic fries were amazing! Highly recommend this place!
They have many varieties and the vegetarian burgers are great. Also the cheeseburgers are perfect. The garlic fries are delicious and overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend, will return again
Burger was good and juicy. Fries were crispy and seasoned well. The bacon cheese fries were flavorful and a great side order to snack on. Definitely recommend this place for any family.
