Fantastic, tender short ribs. Pork melts in your mouth. Garlic chicken is good. Pastrami sandwich is simple yet delightful. Great lunch
Stopped by Fatboy’s on the way back to Waikiki from Lanikai Beach, unfortunately I was overly disappointed at the ahi tuna poke bowl, and the over fried chicken Katsu. Service was slow during the lunch rush, and food was expensive for the portion sizes— poke at $10 and mini Katsu at $9. There is however a wide selection of items on their menu, which may be a better options or alternative!
This is one of my favorite breakfast and lunch spots and Kailua. I am a frequent visitor and I absolutely adore this place. It’s quick and food is delicious. I have tried many dishes from here including aloha breakfast, empty da fridge rice, teriyaki burger, garlic fries, loco moco, garlic chicken, stew. None of them disappoint ! love that some of the menu comes in mini size as well. They have outdoor seating that’s shaded which is also a plus. If you are visiting Kailua, make sure to stop here for some delicious brunch or lunch !

Had it with my mom. Inedible. The chicken katsu tasted like it had been fried, gotten cold, and fried again. The brown rice was so dry not even the sauces at home could fix it. My mom’s meal was bad too, she had some fish and Mac salad. The mac salad was plain. Said the only good thing was the tartar sauce. Nothing had seasoning on it.Overall, I wouldn’t even feed this to my dog. I didn’t know anyone could mess up this badly
My go-to when I don't want to have to think about where I'm going to order lunch or dinner. Easy and great tasting plate is the: Pau surf pack. Comes with a hotdog, chili, & their garlic chicken. The chili is seasoned perfectly to compliment the garlic chicken. Always get the Mac salad, unless you're trying to shave carbs, lol.
I will NOT go back. We ordered some teriyaki chicken sandwiches and they were some of the worst I've had. Sloppy and falling apart, one massive chunk of onion and the end cut of a tomato. Yuck. The chicken was a bunch of little pieces and a lot if it was gristle and inedible. I took a few bites and just ended up throwing it away. Very unimpressed.
I highly recommend the garlic chicken. Worth and price is reasonable. Sorry no pictures I was hungry.
Excellent food, but not the fastest service.
Always good eats. Ali'i fried rice is amazing but really, all our food gas been delish.
