The waffles and pancakes were fluffy perfection. The Mac nut syrup irresistible. A must try!My cornbeef hash was tasty and soft.Only thing I would improve is the serving size for the cornbeef hash and Portuguese sausage plates for the price.Covid cautious restaurant for which I’m grateful.We had to wait outside to be seated. They asked us to sanitize our hands and took our temperature. And all workers wore masks and were very caring and kind.We will return!
This restaurant were recommended to us for their macadamia pancake. We ordered shrimp Alfredo omelette and original pancakes with macadamia. The pancake is fluffy. However, it has a little macadamia nuts sprinkled on top. Omelette is good.
We had the French Toast w Macadamia nut sauce, Eggs and Kalbi, Banana Short Stack Pancakes with Macadamia nut sauce, and side of Maui Portuguese Sausage.Very tasty, service was great, on weekends just be prepared to wait 30-60 minutes.
Guys, if you're visiting Kailua this is a must dining experience. Such a nice variety to choose from. Whatever you order you have to try their banana pancakes with macadamia sauce. Order it and share if you want but they are famous for them and they are hands down THE best pancakes you'll ever try. I'm posting pics, seriously you can't go without trying them. Some friends of mine from OKC recently visited there and LOVED ? them too. Their Pulehu Ribs were the best as well. Their Moco Loco was fabulous too. We loved it so much we came twice. If there is a wait believe me it's well worth it. The staff is so nice and helpful. You won't go away unsatisfied! Two thumbs up???
I’ve been coming here for years. From its humble Wheaties covered walls with blue tables and flooring, to its now two more building changes. The quality has always been on point and feels like a trip down memory lane with every bite!Portuguese sausage, banana pancakes, and eggs. SIGN. ME. UP.Boots and Kimo’s is a national treasure that Hawaii proudly protects. Until my next vacation!!???

The service is okay. I ordered pancakes with Portuguese sausage and mango juice but never got the juice. The pancakes however were nothing like I've had before. Macadamia nut pancakes were amazing. They are mainly known for it and now I know why.
We came to this place because relatives who live here highly recommend their Mac Nut Pancakes. We're not disappointed. The sauce is something special, and we wiped the plate clean. As to the other dishes, they are quite all right but not markedly better than some other local fares we have tried.
Amazing breakfast food. Banana Pancakes with Famous macadamia sauce was amazing. The Western Style Omelet was very full with vegetables. Hashbrowns were good.
I ordered eggs with Maui Portuguese sausage and blueberry pancakes with macadamia sauce. Best sausage I have had in a long time. There eggs were a little over cooked and very small portion of eggs. Two egg scrambled looked like one egg. They are a little pricey 14.95 for just eggs and a meat. Then 16.95 just for pancakes. These pancakes are so good the sauce looked like a lot but it is fluffy and very light not sweet at all was like a whipped cream.
