Server was great ( I think it was Rex) They made a special margarita for me that was perfect. The poke nachos had too much sauce added to the poke. (See photo) Also, the ribs had excessive sauce on top, maybe order on the side. The flies outside were annoying- difficult to relax and enjoy. Not a great ambience for an $80 lunch.
So, be mindful- there are several Umeke's businesses....so, use your map feature and don't go to the wrong one that isn't a restaurant. The food was good. The service was fine- the waitress was fine...she had a few tables and seemed to make it to all of us...just didn't even seem super into it, but wasn't rude at all. Make a reservation if you want to eat indoors....everyone else is seated outside, which was shaded and fine.
The cocktails were tasty and refreshing, the lettuce poke wraps, tacos and fries were fabulous. Only 4 stars because we're foodies and thought the other dishes weren't particularly exciting.
Food is good but expensive.The service is fast and excellent. The choices in the menu is moderate. The location of this restaurant is in the center of kaila kona.We waited 45 minutes to be seated since the place was packed on a weekday afternoon.
The food was very good and while it is basically a seafood restaurant, there is a choice of other foods to suit different tastes. Friendly helpful service.
Drinks and food are good. However be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes or more for your food. This has been consistent over many visits ovet the past 2 years
Their Ahi Poke Bowls are amazing. You can have your ahi poke bowls the way you prefer. Lots of choices. We loved it! It’s crowded and loud but totally worth it. Our server was great too! You need a reservation though unless you want to have a long wait. People were waiting 1-2 hours for dinner.
The food was spectacular! Service was amazing! So many options for food and drinks, this is a must try!
Very good poke. The rest of the food was unremarkable. We didn’t wait the typical 1.5-2hours that most do because they take reservations for parties of 6. Service good, not great. We skipped dessert. Not sure what the fuss is about. Most Hawaiians we spoke to feel they cater to tourists and don’t eat there.
Amazinggg poke. I thought i knew what good poke was but man this was next level. I wish i could go back just to have it again!
