Amazing restaurant. Lunch for 2 is very reasonable, appetizers were excellent. We had a lovely view of kona town and the crashing waves, it's right on the ocean. Food was super fresh and extremely flavourful, won't be disappointed. Reasonable prices! Could even just go in for 2 appetizers and be satisfied.

My wife and I ordered take out. My #50 tiger prawn and green salad was horrible. The included sauce was so spicy it made the meal inedible. The included vegetables were basically shoots of bamboo. Also inedible. If I had ordered the meal at the restaurant I would have immediately sent it back. $25 for one of the worst meals I’ve ever had.

Our entire family ate there - kids, adults, vegetarians and not - and everyone was so happy...and full! Good prices, tons of food, wonderful servers with good senses of humor - a happy place for sure. Pad Thai, excellent, also curried fish. Great view of the bay since we ate outside...We aren't from Hawaii - wish we could take it all the way home!

Amazing place! Very nice and friendly, the waiting time was very short despite the large amounts of people there, food was outstanding, crossing all of the expectations of Thai food and was served in a good portion as well. Also I suggest you dine in rather than take out.

Appetizer and two different entrées. O.K. but nothing special;. Same for the service. We understand that there is better Thai in Kona, but this place was an easy walk from Royal Kona Resort, Net time we'll travel a little farther for better food

We did take out from here, and we enjoyed our selections. My wife had the mixed veggies with chicken in ginger sauce and liked it. I had the red curry, and it, too was good. Plenty of food in both cases. The brown rice was particularly good. We'd go here again.

The food is the only thing keeping this from a lower rating, as it was ok. The service was rude and indifferent and the decor inside was a train wreck. From the patio you have a view of the main street and the ocean. Inside we had a view of piles of boxes, crates and othe rmiscellaneous stuff that should have been in their storeroom and office. It took ages to even be acknowledged as we waited to be seated and then were ignored again waiting to order drinks and our dinner. You cna do so much better in Kailua

First of all, I am a huge fan of Asian food. It means that I have some appetite of Asian food, and I am of course a lover of Thai food. If you look for Thai food restaurant in Kona, this Thai Rin could be one of the candidates you may consider. I can't say it is the best frankly, but this restaurant still guides you to taste Thai food. The price is reasonable since here is Hawaii, and the service is fair. It's convenient to park your car, and the location is great. You can eat Thai food while you watch the beautiful Kona ocean.

Chicken green curry is a staple of Thai cuisine. Perhaps the chef was off that night. The curry was watery, flavorless, and had both dried leaves and hard knobs of something in it. We ordered mai tais and they were very underpowered, possibly the worst mai tais ever. By the way, the service was very slow and the restaurant was not at all crowded. Find another spot for dinner.

I love fried rice and you can tell this is a family owned business just from how authentic they make their fried rice and you can catch a beautiful sunset at the same time! Thank you!
