We had a reservation and walked right in. Ordered the Large Sushi boat for 2 getting a taste of everything. the Ribeye Terikayi and Volcano roll were excellent.
Very good quality. Short staffed, but dis their best.
It was decent but overpriced. Nothing really that special and although it was edible, it was far from the best sushi Iâve ever had.
Pros: As we wanted Ton-Katsu seeing online menu, though it wasnât listed any longer on in house menu the server was super nice about it. Weâve got the best Ton-Katsu Teishoku in town! Cons:Bringing Miso soup with both of us just served beer is not a good sign in the Japanese restaurant. We had to ask three times for To-go container. Overall we really liked the place.
Excellent food at a good price. It was a little hectic getting seated on time with our reservation, but once service started it was an outstanding experience. Our waitress was very apologetic of the delay, and the sushi rolls were awesome!
Such a great place! Waitstaff was amazing even though they were short handed, running all over the place and getting food out. They were so friendly, and the restaurant had a great energy. The food was possibly the best we had on the island, and they had exceptional vegan options for myself. Kids loved the sushi and Katsu, my husband said the steak was cooked perfectly. We really loved it here and prices were very reasonable.
This place was really busy, but we got seated at the bar. Delicious, fresh sushi. Love the ambiance. Service was decent, although might have been slightly less since we were at the bar. All in all, a great place to get sushi in Kona.

Great location, friendly waiters, great bang for your buck and great sushi!
Good - not great - I ordered the 12 piece chefs choice sashimi- $45 for ($60 with tip and tax). Very thin slices. Good quality but not extraordinary - miso clam soup was good. Rolls were rolls ⦠I really wish I felt I had stumbled upon a very special Japenese restaurant- but in the end it could have been anywhere.
