Friendly and fast! The drinks are on point. Not to mention, best views!

In short, the barista was rude when I asked for something different. I didn't like the texture of the cookies in their new Frappaccino. This is not the Starbuck's brand I've enjoyed over the years; they have always lived to delight the customer.--I had my worst Starbuck's experience today after over a decade of patronage. I explained to the Barista I didn't like the new cookie Frappaccino... too many cookie bits. She quickly retorted that that's what's in the cookie Frappaccino. I guess she was insinuating that I was being ridiculous? In retrospect, it was also the texture of the cookies that I didn't like. I meditate, so it was easy for me to stay warm and kind despite the apparent condescension. She now told me, "You can keep that, I can't do anything with it." I guess she was letting me know I was wasting good product? I asked if we could reuse the same cup. She didn't respond and walked away, doing something with someone else's order. I guess I was now getting the silent treatment. A minute later, I asked her for a Caramel Frappaccino instead. She didn't say anything and kept her head down, just focused on the espresso machine for another order. 5 minutes later, I thought to get up and make sure she heard me. 5 minutes later, she slaps my Frappaccino on the outgoing counter and walks away, not announcing it. Yep, it's the silent treatment. At this point, it's clear that, from her perspective, I definitely did something wrong. I'm not sure I should drink it, as it was made with negative thoughts. As I'm sipping it, I hear her co-worker and her talking about how it would be nice if people bring in their own cups.I care about the environment. It bothers me too how much corporations waste, and Hawaii doesn't recycle much of anything. Last I tried to use my own cup at Starbucks, they said they couldn't use it because of sanitary reasons. At most restaurants, I don't re-order when I don't like something. Starbucks, on the other hand, has built their brand on satisfying the customer no matter what. They've made customer's feel emotionally safe to let them know when something tastes even a little off. I didn't feel safe today. I felt judged. I feel distracted from what I came to Starbucks to do today... study for a technical interview. This young lady should take up her disagreements with Corporate, not with the customer. If things at Starbuck's has changed, they need to communicate the changes to customers in a polite manner, perhaps via an in-store sign.

It's a Starbucks. It's almost always to spend your money at a smaller local coffee shop. You'll get better quality that way and contribute more to the community. But for good wifi and affordability, Starbucks wins in hawaii

I love my Caramel macchiato and pumpkin crunch. Very friendly service and I've experienced the "pay it forward" where a car before me has paid for my order, and I pay it "backwards" lol.

Visited this store on Wednesday morning for morning tea & to settle some work stuffs during vacay. Wonderful team, very friendly staffs. Drinks were prepared with care amidst the busy morning

The cashier was nice and apologetic they were out of the only item I wanted. If you're picky like me, it might be a good idea to call ahead and ask if they have the item you want before driving there and waiting in drive thru only to find out the item you want is out of stock. Sadly, this wasn't the first time so I had to give 3 stars.

If you go in mobile order has to be place, no one greets you a lot of people that just look unhappy. Place my order from the inside and was never told it was ready or asked my name as i continued to stand there.

They had nothing in stock for featured coffee for Christmas time and was not polite at all. Just cold “no” for anything that they had ran off. Would not recommend especially during vacation if you don’t want to start your day from disappointment.

Cafe enthusiasts beware , this is the worst Starbucks to go in Kailua-Kona, they will ruin your drinks, be out of everything and not even take your orders properly.Save your time and money and go to the Starbucks at the Harbor. The manager didn't even check to see if they were out of cream cheese , and told us last minute to go back into the long line for a refund. This is an inconvenience and these situations will make you late for lunch or for work. Go the extra distance and go to the location by Texaco. This is the worst Starbucks ever.

Totally unhelpful and uninterested in helping us problem solve when they were out of Venti cups. I understand supply chain issues but not bad customer service.
