Dude…your in Hawaii…and you are craving the absolute best ever piña colada…not sweet…not chunky…but just the right amount of coconut…like a boozy coconut milkshake…then THIS IS THE PLACE! Trust me…totally the bomb!! And if you sit out front feed the geckos your cherry!!! So it’s a drink and a show!! Will be back tomorrow!!! And the next day…and the next!! You get my drift!
The server got our drinks wrong and never followed up asking if we wanted to order lunch. Instead she chatted up with a local at the bar. We paid for our drinks and left

We stopped at Da Shark Shack for lunch after shopping for gifts and t-shirts on Alii Drive. Our server was Dooley and she sat us at the street front counter looking into the bay and Alii Drive. Dooley gave us da low down on all the board specials in Pidgin English. I ordered the Kalua pig with rice and cabbage bowl. I was not disappointed. Everything was fresh and onolicious! Did not have any cocktails but plan to on our next visit. As we were about to leave Hannah came up to me and said "Eh you look familiar ". Found out she was co owner of the newly renamed Da Shark Shack. She was originally from Hilo side and was a teacher as was my wife. She might have known my cuz'ns with last name Saplan. We wound up talking story with her almost longer and than we ate lunch. Moral of this review. Da Aloha Spirit of "Live Aloha" is present at Da Shark Shack. Oh yeah the food is ONOLICIOUS!!! When we make it back to Da Big Island we will be sure to stop, eat an talk story wit da gang!?????
Unbelievable views, delicious Pina Colada. Highly recommend the Lava Flow.

Great views and affordable brews and tacos, especially during happy hour. The tacos are minimal but tasty, recommend the pork since it's the most flavorful and tender. Nice views of the pier. Seats are a little close for comfort during covid times, but that's the only reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise an easy 5.
Awesome little spot in a great location. It gets busy, but the drinks are cold and the food delicious.
