I was not sure if I could have one due to having no sugar free options, HOWEVER, all their flavors are natural and made with cane and love. I ordered light syrup and was more than sweet enough. The shaved ice is like the traditional one super broke da mouth. They offer all the extra adzuki or cream etc.

This is my favorite shave ice place, not just on the Big Island, but out of all the Hawaiian islands. There is so much I love about this place - let me count the ways:1) The flavors are made with real fruit and organic sugar, and they all taste amazing. So intense, fruity, refreshing, and delicious! Try any and every flavor - you truly can’t go wrong.2) They use reusable wooden bowls and metal spoons!!! A rarity in the shave ice world where it usually comes in a disposable bowl with plastic spoons that’ll spend an eternity in a landfill.3) The staff are so friendly and wonderful, and they always have delightful holiday decorations.There isn’t a single shave ice place in Kona that even comes close to One Aloha. I wish I could eat here every day!

So many options! They have just about any flavor you might want, or choose from any of their many popular combos.They have the usual add-ons (ice cream, snow cap, etc.).Their ingredients are less processed and more natural, so less guilt!?Prices reasonable and sizes are good. I definitely recommend!

They make their own syrups, so that's always a good sign. Stuff was absolutely delicious and staff couldn't have been friendlier. Only down side is that they seem to keep inconsistent hours so it's best to call ahead of time to see when they'll be open so you can plan accordingly.

There is a beloved shaved ice stand in our hometown, so we were hesitant when we were told to try snowcones while we were in Hawaii. I can't speak for other shops, but I have to assume they are worse since I can't imagine shaved ice gets any better than this. A great price for how much you get, and the toppings/ice cream are totally worth it. Absolutely the best dessert (meal? It's a lot of ice) we had during our stay in Hawaii.
Well, I know see what all the fuss is about. Hawaiian shaved ice is on another level compared to main land 'flavored ice'. And this place was awesome. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And so delicious. The guy behind us in line even changed his flight to a later flight that day just so he can get some more before leaving. No joke.
