Poor choice for dinner. Had a hot dog and cheeseburger. I don’t think there is a kitchen so it seemed to possibly be heated up. No fixings on cheeseburger. No fries etc.
Probably the saddest looking takeaway I've ever purchased.As an Aussie tourist, I was expecting a classic American ? and even the emoji looks better than what I was served.Ordered a FRESH fruit smoothie, only to learn they aren't FRESH, they use flavoured syrup?Ordered a cheeseburger, and was asked if I wanted cheese on it?It was 'cheap' compared to other takeaways, but what this cafe offered up, was like your 5yo was making you lunch for Mothers Day. I ate it just because it was wasteful to bin it.
Should be renamed to Oceanfront can't be bothered. I am certain tourists can be irritating, but when your livelihood is tourism, you'd think they'd at least learn to pretend they want your business. Don't bother with this place.
Coffee drinks were OK. I left thinking I had unintentionally offended the guy working as he was extremely rude. Turned the music up very loud before I ordered. Was snappy with every question we asked. I left and asked my wife "what did I do to tick that guy off?". Was relieved to see that it wasn't just me and that the guy is just a miserable human being. Don't know how you can be so miserable being on the ocean on hawaii.Dude did have good music taste though.
Never again. The shop owner was extremely rude. We walked in, no one else was there and stood back as we looked at the menu. Husband complimented saying there was so much to choose from and the guys says "well I've got alot of stuff to do" turns the music up and practically ignores us. I ask about a drink thats pictured on his wall and he very rudely says "I can make it but I'm gonna go ahead and tell you it don't look like that"... Very smart and hateful demeanor towards my daughter as she was deciding on her icecream. Then pulls out instant coffee packets to make our drinks. It really felt like we had done something wrong or that he was miserable the entire time. If you hate people this much then maybe you should just close up shop. Literally the most obviously hateful experience I have ever been treated by a business in my life. I recommend going ANYWHERE else!

WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE!!My brother, cousin, and I had a craving for ice cream and went to this location because of its proximity to urban Kailua-Kona. We had a sad experience. Not only was the ice cream and shaved ice sub-par but so was the customer service. My brother paid for our ice cream without me noticing. I then go to pay and the guy proceeds to charge me for all three orders. My brother noticed that I was paying and stopped the transaction. The employee simply looked at us with a dead look in his eyes without saying a word.The employee that was working at 7:30 PM (12/23/21) should be fired without hesitation. Not only did he give us slow service but I believe he is simply a bad person for attempting to charge us twice without apology.
My wife and I were walking around Kona, and popped in to get a coffee to walk around with. The guy behind the counter said nothing as we walked in and looked around, we grabbed two waters and my wife ordered a americano, I finally asked how his day was and was answered “ok” with a indifferent look on his face, he grab an instant pack of espresso some ice from the back and sink water and called it good. One of the saddest cups of coffee I’d ever seen from a very miserable worker.
