No photos because they didn’t deserve. We ordered take out via delivery platform, glass noodles salad was stored in a loosely paper box. There was no sauce left, hence dry noodle salad. Pad Thai didn’t taste like how it should be. The taste of both dishes could need more work!!
Some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The peanut sauce on the fresh spring roll is off the charts. Curries are great. Just the right amount of heat! Eat here every visit to Kona!
We went there twice in 5 days. The 1st time, my wife wasn't hungry but I had the Pad Kee Mao (chicken) and it was fantastic. My wife, who is vegan, thought it looked delicious so we went back a few days later and she ordered it with tofu and loved it. I tried the Spicy Basil Leaves over rice (chicken) and it was equally good. We will definitely go back there the next time we are in Kona. It is one of the best Thai restaurants we have eaten at.
Pls don’t waste your time here. The place is empty n believe run by an elderly lady though not sure. My plate had a hair and requested for another one which also came with a tiny hair . That was enough to dampen my appetite and then my food came with snap of seconds. Obviously it showed as the food was flavorless, tasteless and not even warm ( Pineapple fried rice) . In HI I didn’t expect a pineapple fried rice to come in that pity state. Didn’t eat after a bite and left.
This is overlooking the main street with open air dining. They had a pretty large menu typical of Asian restaurant. We were seated quickly and the service was fast We had beef and broccoli and sweet and sour chicken The veggies were crisp and the meat was cooked well. Serving size was just fine. No leftovers but not hungry either. It was not very expensive. I would recommend

This place can really turn around if they get a chef that knows the basics of cooking. They have a great location, great street view, inside decor is nice, service was good, and very reasonably priced, the only bad thing was the food. Their curry’s waaaaay too watery. It taste like they pre boiled chicken and vegetables with water, then add some sauce in when customers order. Because of this, chicken has no flavor and it’s dry. It would be better if they stir fry the marinaded chicken to lock in juice, then let chicken and vegetables cook with the sauce, then add Thai basil and turn up heat to thicken the sauce in the end. Street vendors do this, it does not take long, but the flavor would be so much better.
Really good food. We love the green papaya salad. We came back the next day to order it again. Fish dishes are excellent too.
My wife wanted Thai in Hawaii, so we get Thai in Hawaii. :) It was actually really good… Food was tasty. Biggest issue is it could have been a little cleaner. I know its COVID, but we could sweep a little more often. BUT the food was very good.
Glad that this place made it during COVID! Nice location on the 2nd floor with open air and breezes. Wonderful Thai food and cold beer! Saw a group get upset because they felt rushed and didn't feel like it was the more formal option they wanted. There were probably 3 people running the entire place, working their hardest and were extremely kind and welcoming. They were trying to provide good service to everyone coming in the door. It's a must have when we are in Kailua-Kona!
