Tried the catch of the day. Was really good. Waitress was super nice. Katie I think. Was it 45 dollars nice? Ehhh I wouldn't pay this every meal but if you want a great place to buy a nice dinner then what I had here was really good.
If you are going for a beautiful ocean view dining experience , this is the restaurant for sure. Just don't expect service to be slightly better than any fast food chain. Service is beyond terrible horrible and down right worst restaurant I ever visited. All I did was complain to server that his service was inattentive that we didn't even get any water refilled when he walked pass us several times to serve table next to us. He became angry and verbally abusive to me and yelled at me to pay the check and leave. I am traveling with a young child first time to Big island and quiet shock and alarm up by this male server's aggressive attack for my minor and rightful complain about his sloppy service and bad attitude. When the manager took us out to lobby to talk, this make serve came right back out to yell at me and my young child in front of everyone in the front lobby, it seems like it is a norm/culture at this restaurant to attacking woman with young child who are traveling alone. Don't visit this restaurant if you don't have male in your group and be safe. There are plenty of restaurants with beautiful views here, you don't need to be belittled and attacked for speaking up.
Everything about my experience was great! The ambiance, service, view, and especially the food was fabulous! Highly recommend for a romantic dinner or meal with family! Stay to watch the sunset from the seawall.
Best Mai Tais on the island. We went a few times while we were in town. Had some snacks which were also tasty. The view is great while you sip on your drink!
Great place! Cocktails and food are good. We had dinner and our server was Dale. He was amazing and very attentive !!
Our waiter took our dinner order and our dinner never came. After people around us started getting their dinner served when they had come into the restaurant after us we inquired with our waiter as to the status of our meal. Our waiter did not even remember taking our order??? I wonder what he was smoking?? We complainted to the manager on the way out and she did not even ask who our waiter was. Find somewhere else to eat!
Authentic Hawaiian place with lots of fresh seafood.It is busy in the evening but very calm during the day.Location is perfect!Gorgeous view of the ocean. Wonderful sounds of the Nature.You can enjoy fresh ocean breeze and fresh seafood simultaneously.Very courteous staffers with friendly smiles and customer oriented service.Highly recommend.

Always good food !Update : Wonderful server , Nick ,tonight.Very friendly, attentive and on top of hot food, extra napkins , cold beverages. A relaxing experience out of the past! Great food, friendly- well supplied bar and views of the ocean! Highly recommend the mai tai and calamari sandwich, but you can’t go wrong with anything!
What a piece of history! Just beautiful decors and interior as you walk in. We sat near the bar area with sweeping view to the grassy lawn area, overlooking the ocean and situated perfectly for the signature Kona sunset. Our party of 4 ordered a variety of items: calamari appetizer. Not the curly small strips but actual generous wide pieces. Super tender, very well prepared. Also got the teriyaki prawns (6 large shrimps with vegetables and white rice. The crushed mac nuts crusted mahi mahi. Super large portion, two large pieces of mahi mahi, served with vegetables and choice of mashed potato/rice etc. Also got the fish and chips, plus shrimp wedge salad. Tried mai tai, white wines, bartender even made a chocolate martini and also the lilikoi (passion fruit) martini Service was outstanding. What a gem, probably a hidden one, as we did not see tourists waiting for a table. Hope this review doesn't get out and spoil this place!
