The two people in here were buried in pizzas to make and they told me a time about a hour out when mine would be done and they nailed the timing perfect. These people deserve a raise. Pizza was done great too.
Pizza is mediocre at best. We waited over an hour for our two pizzas; understandably as it seemed to be busy. When we finally went in for our pizzas however, there were two friendly young staff members working alone who seemed very overwhelmed without any support.After finally receiving the pizzas, we went home only to open one which was not what we actually ordered and both having been undercooked with barely melted cheese. We had to re-bake them at home and add topping before even eating them (ordered to avoid cooking before an early flight).Friendly staff, but unfortunate work load for two young people to carry on their own.
The pizza varies depending on the day, but what is consistent is the very rude staff we have encountered. We adore pizza and have given this place so many chances because of our love for pizza. The staff always tries to get people not to order, usually telling them an insanely long wait time (Ive even seen them laugh after someone leaves bc they don’t want to wait 2 hours) and they’re always super rude to everyone who comes in. No Aloha at this spot. Ever. I’m sure the pizza would taste even better if the people serving/making it weren’t so incredibly RUDE and dismissive.
Ordered for carry out and didn't have any issues. Pizza was fine but not particularly memorable. I think the sausage pizza in particular seemed pretty sparse on the toppings. Not a big deal since I just picked up to go, but worth mentioning that the interior of the joint was depressing as hell.
Ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was delicious. The staff was super friendly and also supplied us with plates. The price was fair
Kona Crust Pizza is one of my family's favorite pizza in Kona. The price is reasonable, and the taste is good compared to the price. If you order through online, you do not need to wait. If you make an order in person, you need to wait about 40 minutes. If you look for some nice pizza in Kona, Kona Crust definitely could be the place you may want to try!
Good delicious pizza! Ordered mine half pepperoni and half vegetarian! Went to the old airport nearby and enjoyed the pizza!!
Without a doubt One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. If you like New York style pizza then be sure to go here. We went here because the local said it's the best pizza on the island and we totally agreeWe got a gigantic pepperoni pizza and if you made me close my eyes and tell me what I was eating I would have sworn I was standing in the middle of Brooklyn.Don't come here if you're in a rush! It does take a bit of time but it is worth the wait. Even if you order online my order was still almost a half hour past the time they said it would be ready. But when I took that first bite I could not have cared less It was fantastic
WOW! I’m from NY born and raised and this pizza is straight out of Brooklyn. Crust was perfect undercarriage cooked golden brown just the right amount of sauce too cheese ratio. They nailed it! New favorite place to eat in KONA thank you pizza gods for blessing this island with at least one good food spot. No photos unfortunately ate it way too fast
New York Style pizza and it was great! Everyone was friendly and the service was great. Highly recommend. The sauce was really good.
