This fish sandwich came with mayonnaise on top the fish was just a patty that had the consistency of a brick I brought it back up to the counter explained it was disgusting and I couldn’t eat it , the gentleman behind the counter didn’t seem like he couldn’t care less
Really good burgers. Fast service. Not much indoor dining, but they do have outdoor seating. Good portion size. Would eat here again.
This shopping area in Kona has lots of great restaurants and bars, but if price is an issue and you want something good and greasy this burger joint is killer. We ate here our last night and wish we had eaten there earlier because it was one of the most filling and cheapest meals we ate on the Big Island. They also will grill the sandwich with chicken or a veggie burger if you don't want a burger. My daughter is a vegetarian and loved her garden burger with cheese, BBQ sauce and onion rings. This is NOT fast food - in fact we had to wait about 30 minutes for our food and it was worth the wait.
The signs on the street claim the 8th best cheeseburger in the U.S. The burger I had was FAR BETTER than that! I got the Roasted Poblano Pepperjack cheeseburger with grass-fed beef and made it a double. I added a side salad with ranch. The burger was amazing! The cook and flavor of the beef was nothing short of incredible. The burger was juicy and the flavors paired perfectly! The side salad was also quite tasty. The portions of meat were GENEROUS! IF I could have eaten another, I would have! If you're in Kona, stop in and try a burger, you will NOT regret it!
We had a party of 7 and everyone's order was done correctly and tasted delicious. We ordered the 1) Kaluha Pork plate, 2) Kaluha Pork Loco Moco 3) Seared tuna sandwich 4) BBQ Kaluha Pork sandwich 5) Grilled cheese 6) Cheeseburger with bacon.
Really good food for a reasonable price! We would absolutely eat here again. Adding it to the list of favorites. Relatively short wait in line and quickly received our food. I highly recommend getting the local grass-fed beef for $1 more. SO yummy!
PB & B burger was phenomenal. I had never had a PB burger before, but the saltiness of the PB with the bacon was amazing. Would definitely order again.My mom had the Applewood smoked bacon cheeseburger which was a very solid option if you're looking for a classic burger.Both burgers were cooked perfectly to medium and very juicy. The fries are also fantastic!
If you like burgers - gotta go here. There's a Yelp sign saying 8th best burger in the USA....this sounds believable. It is certainly in competition for the best cheeseburgers ever eatn.....wife got goat cheese pesto, and I had had Poblano Chile Cheeseburger. Quality was outstanding - well worth the $26. Service was good. Hype is merited.
This place in GREAT. They make a great burger with frest meat and vegetables. When I get the pork tenderloin it just reminds me of the ones you get in the middle of the county in Indiana. BUT if you could only eat on item go for the Onion Rings they are the best I have ever had. And I have had plenty of them. Service great and price is reasonable.
Such a cute family run restaurant! Support your locals, I think it’s run by a dad and his sons. Also the food... so dang good. I got the fish tacos (local caught ono and ahi!) and had some of my friend’s loco moco. They have an option for local grass fed beef too! Only a buck more.
