We came in at 9:30 pm, close at ten. Asked if it was OK to order and eat in they said yes. Food was quick, 3 orders of cheese burgers, no fries, 1 order of Sesame Chicken. At 9:45, they started cleaning bathrooms and all unoccupied areas around us with a very strong smell of pine sole? 9:55, they asked us to leave? Said they were closed! With our meals half eaten, we were ushered outside and finished in our car. Early next morning we all had the runs!! Never going back there.
Great food and some of the most affordable food on the island. Love the ramen, the sesame chicken with rice and mac salad is the best. Only a few tables to sit at so probably best for take out.
Stopped in here for lunch by chance. My grilled mahi mahi on a salad and flavored brown rice was grade A. The pork bowl was terrific and plentiful. Wife and I shared both meals. Prices are very affordable. Don't miss this gem. You walk up and order and they call you when ready.

Weirdly some of the best food we had in Hawaii. We came back several times because we loved it so much. Huge quantities and great pricing.
This may be considered fast food, but it is really good. Love the whole take on the Hawaiian lunch. Great food and the macaroni salad excellent. Be careful if you ask for extra sauce ...we go "ONE SAUCE ONLY!!" even with both chicken and fish on our plate. Makes a funny story to share.
We knew we picked a good spot when we saw locals coming in and out. We really enjoyed the food we got! Service was quick and easy!
I believe this is the best L&L located on the island. Not just Kona side, but the entire island. They have a very large menu selection compared to other locations, their prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. They are very friendly and the location is always clean. This is my go to spot for Hawaiian and Chinese food for sure.
Great local takeout chain with cheap prices and big portions! We loved the chicken katsu and beef tariyaki. The macaroni salad was also a good side and given in a generous portion.
I was so disappointed in the service I received. The woman who took my order was rude and downright disrespectful towards me when I was asking for clarification on what I could receive as a combo meal. What was the ultimate disrespect leading me to discontinue my order and leave was her flagging her hand at me! I went on an excursion the day before my departure from Big Island, and the lunch provided to us was from this restaurant. My family and I thoroughly enjoy the food. It was delicious and flavorful. We decided since we had a late flight leaving the island we’d grab dinner from here. I was disheartened by the treatment I received.
