Not bad compared to a lot of the pool food we had in HI. Stick with simple things. We had the chicken strips, fries, and frozen drinks. All good and quick.
We had great, speedy service, and the food was great! We had the poke bowl, chicken dipper basket, wings, and a chicken-cheese quesadilla. Everything was about the size you'd expect except for the wings. There are only 5 but the texture was good! The prices are about what you'd expect at an oceanfront resort- about $14-18 per appetizer and $18-30 for entrees. For those with kids, the chicken dipper basket at $18 comes with fries and is big enough to split. The quesadilla at $14 is also huge. Oh, the Mai Tai was good, but the Lava Flow Mai Tai was absolutely better!!!
The chicken dippers are the best bet. There's enough to share. The veggie wrap was really good for the first bite, but there is so much cooked spinach that it feels like you are chewing for days. Service is slow, just to be warned.
Not good at all
Bartenders were great, food Not so much. The worse part is this pool bar/food closes at 5:30pm.....then there is only 1 choice after that for drinks/food, which is Very overpriced!
Why the score is so low lol. We had a good experience here.
Poor quality food with a premium price.
We were at the pool several times and we got the best service we have received in a Marriott Hawaiian Pool, although not a high bar. Still we saw someone on occasion and were able to place orders for beverages. We only ate once. I think it was $19 for a fresh hebi fish sandwich and fries. My wife had a $6 order of fries. Our fries were as good or better than any we had this trip at sit-down restaurants.
Good hotel bar. Quick service, friendly staff, and a nice variety of drinks and food. Happy hour specials are a must next to the pool. Only downside is no great view of the ocean while you’re chillin.
My burger came did not came out as I was expected to be, but the beer came out good though. The service was great.
