It’s 11:10 and I tried to eat here, but cause I was by myself, they didn’t allow me to sit in a table, just in the middle one, that is like the bar sit. The food here is good.. I really don’t understand. Bellow the picture of how “full” was the restaurant… I just got paid, I was hungry and ready to eat a lot.. I don’t understand..

For some odd reason I had never eaten here in the 7 years I have lived in Kailua- Kona. I am so sad I missed out on this place. I enjoy the diverse menu options, iPad ordering, fresh taste and presentation, train delivery, wasabi/ginger, cold air conditioning- all around enjoyable spot to grab a bite to eat. Now I am looking forward to trying more. So far my favorites are the poke roll, Ebi fry roll, and cream cheese salmon roll. Finished with some warm miso soup and that’s an enjoyable lunch. Maybe the vegetable tempura next?

The absolute worst customer service. Place was almost completely empty yet I stood at the entrance IGNORED by staff for over 5 minutes even though she looked at me several times. Then she refused to seat me at any of the many empty tables (only 2 tables were occupied) and said i would have to wait 10-15 minutes MORE to sit at the bar. This place is not worth it. Go ANYWHERE else.

Waited for a long time for a table. With nobody even acknowledging that we were there. Then after finally being seated, you can order off the computer. We had food but no chop sticks, napkins, soy sauce. Asked for drinks and finally got up and got our own chops sticks and soy sause. (They later scolded me for getting the soy sause myself when they finally brought drinks after we had already eaten). Drinks were never refilled when we finally got them. It wasn't that they didn't care if we where there. It was clear they didn't want anyone there.

The worst ever!!!!!! We have been here over the years and it was downhill. Old fish. Advertised 50 percent off. Not the case. More like 15 percent. Gag me. Soooooooo bad.

First of all, I have to say that I am a huge fan of sushi. When I traveled to Japan several times, I always visited several different sushi restaurants including conveyor-belt sushi, such as Kura sushi and Sushiro. I really loved them since the taste and price is very satisfied. After the pandemic happened, I was not able to visit Japan because their boarder is closed to a traveler. When I missed a sushi restaurant, particularly a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant, I visited Kenki sushi. However, if you expected the taste and atmosphere you experienced from Japan, you definitely would regret. The price is a Hawaiian price, and you may not be able to enjoy the sushi without concerning the price. It is just fair to visit this restaurant if you really miss a Japanese conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. Other than that, it might be challenging for me to enjoy the sushi from this restaurant without concerning the price. They also sell a bento (Lunch box), and it might be more affordable and less burden for the one who want to eat sushi with reasonable price. The taste of sushi is just okay. There will be enough parking spaces and you may access the toilets. Don't forget to bring your mask to enter.

Did a great job! As soon as we arrived a staff member informed us that there was only one chef and there would be a 25 to 30 minute delay. (As opposed to telling us it would be 15 minutes and us end up waiting for 30) we appreciated the honestyFood was good !

it’s always a hit or miss with seating here.we waited over an HOUR to not even be called. waste of my time !!! i gave them my phone number and they confirmed that they would give me a call, they never did. i had to go in and see what was wrong. turns out they skipped over us and let other people in that were after us.good service just is NOT there. They won’t even refill my water. I asked them multiple times very nicely and they forget and never come back to the table. You will most likely only get more water if you ask, they usually don’t come back to the table to see how things are going even if it’s slow. most if not all employees are not that nice either.if you don’t know how to speak to customers who fuel you your income, don’t even bother working in this type of industry. maybe if they had better customer service which isn’t that hard they would make better tips.i’m sorry if they can’t even refill my water or put in an order request..or give us a call that our table was ready after waiting an hour, that doesn’t deserve a tip. The kitchen deserves all the tips because the food there is what’s worth it. 1 star for the yummy food. best advice is to just get take out.

Great experience, granted with Covid it was an dialed back experience. I enjoyed the menu selection but felt the overall availability of certain things was reduced to compensate for limited staffing which I hope returns once things normalize.

Genki Sushi fulfilled my sushi craving in Hawaii. You order your food on an iPad and the food is delivered to your table on a bullet train on conveyor system. I ordered the spicy salmon, edamame and an order of potstickers. The food came out quickly and kids would especially love the food delivery. You’ll be ordering food all night.
