I was almost discouraged from going in because it was buried back past a derelict looking gas station in a small food court. I almost drove right past it. Really nice staff though and food was really decent food. Reminded me of Taco Express in Colorado Springs

This is my first time in Hawaii and the second place I ate at and Valerie was the most professional cashier and the food was amazing.
Staff is very friendly and the food is soooooo good. This place had maybe one of the best burritos I've ever had. Definitely a great stop on our way back to the airport.
Authentic Mexican food! Love the Menudo, but they only have it on Sundays so get there early. I also love their enchiladas ?
This place is legit! Not only is this the best Mexican on the island (by a mile!) but it rivals the best dive mexi-grills and taco trucks that I’ve eaten at all over the Southwest. And they are super nice. Thanks for your attention to detail and authenticity!
Loved it. Busy place but the order didn't take to long. Carnitas and asada taco. Yum. Cheese quesadilla also yum. Good portions!! I will be coming back on the weekends for sure. All the way from Hawi.

I lived in socal and grew up eating Mexican food. I love it. I have tried many places on the island and they have all been ok. Not bad just not great. I came to this place on a whim and boy was I surprised. I ordered a burrito al pastor and it was amazing. Packed full of flavor, not too greasy, and not to expensive. Since then I have been there 2 more times and both times were amazing. I have the carnitas taco and burrito. The meat was juicy and full of flavor. I consider this to be the best Mexican in all of Kona. But don't take my word for it give it a shot. If your in to tex mex it may not be your thing but if your looking for that authentic flavor then this is the place
