Authentic Mexican restaurant I recommend it 100% when you are on the island you should visit it
This place is a real gem. It's off the beaten path. The good is huge portions. It's always great tasting. It usually takes then a while to have your order ready. But they are very nice staff. Very knowledgeable. They always smile and treat me very nice. Great lunch spot. Best nachos around
The food wasn’t the best but I wouldn’t leave a one star for that (I wouldn’t make a big deal out of that), HOWEVER, A ROCK IN MY RICE? I spit it out when I hurt my teeth on it and thought it HAD to be some type of meat or something that fell in, but no, a ROCK. I just can’t imagine if someone with a baby fed them an accidental rock in a spoonful or rice! Or I hadn’t been lucky to detect it before I broke a tooth! I can’t imagine how someone would feel if they had just gotten new braces! This is not only a HEALTH HAZARD and makes me question how clean things are in the kitchen, but is DANGEROUS. No one should be getting surprise rocks in their food ?
Had chimmiconga 'wet' w the green sauce 'spicy' carna asada came w sour cream and guac...just meat beans cheese and pico inside. DELICIOUS!
Very authentic Mexican food. We have been looking for a restaurant like this. Not fancy, just good food. Great menu selection.
They won Best Of Hawaii 2021, and they deservered it. I had the #1 plate, with two enchiladas (I chose beef over chicken) with sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese, plus (because I disdain white rice) a double portion of refried beans. Delicious!
Had a combo of a carne asada taco and chili relleno. Very tasty but a bit slow in getting our food due to all the take out orders that they were filling.
Simple, value priced food. No frills. Chips and salsa not free, but really never was anyway. If you want it, buy it.
We ordered carne asada burrito with shrimp, off menu but they made it for us. Tan sabroso!!!
