Interesting place. Phillip the bartender was fun, but it's not really a "tapas" place, more like heavy appetizers. They were really good, though. A limited, but good selection of beers and harder drinks.The actual food was quite good and from Ohana Q next door. Meats (brisket, pulled pork) were good, but the blackened fish on the salad was killed to the point of being extra dead.Will probably go back on a slow night to hang out.
With Mi's Waterfront Bistro gone, we have been lacking for good pasta in Kona. Not anymore!Sit down, get away from the hooplah, enjoy quality service and amazing food? New place, not a lot of reviews. The gentleman who serviced us was fantastic and gracious. The wine was good and the tapas were tasty.
Food was so darn good. If the noodles were hand made this would be an easy 12/10I had the funghi with shrimp. Not only was the sauce perfection but they cooked the shrimp perfectly… almost too perfect

Ok. I've had smoked meats from all over the place. From California to NJ to Philadelphia to Texas. This place matches up with the best I've had. Fantastic portion sizes. Meat smoked perfectly. Tender flavorful. I have literally nothing negative to say. We did delivery so I can't comment on ambience. I can only comment on food quality. I can't say this more clearly. If you are in Kona, get food from here. If you are disappointed it's because you just don't appreciate smoked meat. I had the brisket pulled pork combo which was absolutely perfect. I literally have nothing negative to say. The meat was cooked perfectly. The flavors were perfect. The beef melted in my moth. The pork was tender moist and flavorful. My wife had the Brisket mac and cheese. I stole some from her. It was amazing. Again NOTHING negative to say. Please check my other reviews, I don't give undeserved five star reviews. This place earned it's fiver star review.
This is a new sit-down version of Ohana Q. Everything we tried here was amazing and the folks are really nice. I wasn't expecting the dates to be my favorite but they were probably one of the best things I've ever tasted. The BBQ shrimp and pulled pork sundae were awesome too (ask for extra bbq sauce!) There's also nice outdoor seating and a full bar with several local beers on tap.
Highly recommended, great food very tasty and very well prepared. I had pulled pork with Mac and cheese and suffice it to say it was simply the best
