This is a local establishment that serves a variety of dishes. Wraps, sandwiches, burgers, salads, sushi, stir fry, seafood, etc. I had the Wow Wee sushi. Very yummy with the cream cheese melting in your mouth. My husband had the Mongolian beef which he devoured! We also order egg drop soup which was hot and hot the spot and some Kava called Leila-seltzer in a can. Very light. We will definitely return before leaving g the island. A new favorite local spot!
Service was great, but food and drink were not. My burger wasn't anything special and McDonald's honestly does better plus 1/4th the cost. We also ordered the salmon teriyaki and man... That was one of the worst dish we've ever seen in our life. It was literally so tiny that you can gobble up all tiny 4 pieces of fish in literally 4 bites. They were also so thin so not doubt they were overcooked. The plate was more rice than anything and a few lettuce leaves for the salad. We also ordered Kava which was tasty as they added some pineapple juice but it wasn't potent at all. We've had much better Kava at a significantly lower price. This place was a rip off.
This is a fun place for locals and visitors alike. A hidden gem in Kahului with a variety of cuisine to choose from, served happily by their friendly staff. The sushi is very good and reasonably priced. I recommend giving them a try you won't be disappointed
Need good food fast after arriving here in Maui Don’t pass Wow Wee Kava Bar Heard the sushi was good…. well? Yes it is …. Nice menu covering snacks, salads, burgers, fish and sushi…… enjoyed the hamachi roll and spicy tuna roll along with a good IPA from Maui Brewing Stop n check it out ?
This bar is nearby Costco and Walmart and the Kahului Airport. If you want to start your trip with some great sushi but don’t want to wait for a waterfront seat, this is the bar to be at. They have great employees serving their customers the best sushi. We chose the special called Haleakala with salmon and the sushi was shaped like a mountain. Very nice plating idea. Our second roll was called the Wow Wee roll. It had a lot of flavor and was perfectly fried so that the cream cheese was warm and gooey in your mouth. We also had drinks. A beer and a Wow Wee Punch.
Stopped in for a quick bite after a long flight. The egg drop soup and wow-wee roll were really good.

We ordered burgers and the fish and chips. The burgers tasted like frozen burgers from the grocery store and the fish wasn’t seasoned and horribly breaded. They gave 4 small pieces of fish and I couldn’t even finish my meal. Definitely was not worth the money.
Wow-Wee Maui's Kava Bar & Grill delivers quality fish and seafood affordably. Had some really fresh sushi rolls, plates and pupu appetizers. Called in for a table for thirteen and the staff was friendly and helpful. They were able to sit us in the Birthday section. Time to celebrate! A few pupu apps, drinks and we're ready for entrees. Locals raved about their specials so we ordered the Katsu, a fresh light and crunchy breading on choice of chicken, fish or pork. The pork belly is outrageously delicious and shareable. Made our own pupu platter with Ribeye, calamari, gyoza and onion rings, they all arrived ready to share. The soft shell crabs were so good that I couldn't sneak in a pic. Sushi is fresh, crunchy and rolled well. Try the breaded California, you won't be disappointed. Wow-Wee was just that! Perfect for families, drinks, apps and sushi.
I eat here regularly and have never been disappointed, but I ordered from door dash this time and when I got my food I opened it up at first I thought they forgot my salmon, but after looking through some lettuce thrown on top I realized I was given maybe 3oz of actual salmon that cost me over $20. Whatever, I wasn’t gonna complain until a small roach came crawling out from my salad. This is unacceptable and 100% unsanitary. My friends and family will never eat from this place again.
