This trip was disappointing to say the least . The service was ok but the chicken must’ve shrinked from the last time we ate there till now . . I thought wow from a business stand point not a good choice to buy a cheaper quality of chicken and serve it . I would rather pay the extra for the same large fried chicken they served up until recently
Got 1/2 & 1/2 potato Korean corn dog, garlic, spicey, and snow wings. ALL OVERPOWERED with sweet flavor. Not much difference between all the flavors at all. It was all MOSTLY sweet with a HINT of other flavors (besides spice… it is spice but sweet & spicey >.<). Wayyyyy too sweet and nothing to balance out the flavors ? I don’t understand what all the hype is about.
Absolutely, without a doubt, the best chicken wings that I've ever had! Love the spicy and honey butter.Can't wait until the Kihei location opens.
Chicken is the best on Maui!!! My favorite is the Honey Butter but all of them are great. The outside nice and crunchy and the inside cooked to perfection. The staff is nice and friendly with fast service! Definitely a repeat customer ?
Best out of the ordinary fried chicken on Maui.Perfect takeout for kids when paired with a day at Ultimate Air trampoline park down the road.
I have heard about Von’s chicken wings and how people rave about how crispy it is. I went to the location on Waialae Avenue. The first time I tried the regular crispy fried wings and goodness was it good and very crispy. You can get a full or ½ order – I got the ½ order, 10 wings for $13.99 It was so good that we went back in two days and got a half order of the crispy fried again and half order of crispy shoyu ($14.99). The wings are amazingly tasty and crunchy – highly recommend trying this to go fast food place especially good for picnics! We visited the location in Kapahulu
I love Von’s Chicken. Every sauce they have tastes fantastic. The best fried chicken I have ever had. I can’t wait until the next time I visit Maui because I know where I will be stopping for food.
